The purpose is gameplay and modification... , I do not believe any of these choices will be reliable with constructing mods. The chrome tablet and book act more like search engines than an actual Android device. The third option seems the best but, there are reports of APKS not working on it. My advice would be to just get a Android phone. Make sure it has good storage and preferable RAM. These two elements are the key to having a good device. I could be wrong about the tablet and book but, it is best to stay within your preferred operating system. |

Ok I never have worked on a chromebook, but I believe Darth Vader is 100% correct - and who wants to be client of the NSA? I remove as much google-spyware as I can - horrible ! A cheap andoid tablet is great, you need a blootooth keyboard (important $15) and if you want a mouse. Always with 3G or 4G, this costs $10-$20 more, but You can use it as phone or hotspot if necessary. For less than 150$ you have a mobile 'laptop' with 10h battery working-time. Gaming is more fun on a 10" screen. I don't know any app that runs only on an android phone but not on my tablet. Tablets are just bigger and cheaper. The displays of new phones have higher resolution on smaller displays, better cameras and the miniturisation make the extra price for phones. All not keypoints for modding and playing. |

I don't like MS because their software quality is underterrestic - without the IBM code for NT they won't have anything working - apart M-Basic (sometimes) Be aware google is bloating a lot - they try to steal every of your thoughts. - and what I personally hate most: the false error messages to get users addicted to *Alphabet*. as always i value y'all's input. TYVM. - I don't understand, sorry. PS: For modding, a good hardware keyboard is a "must have" - even for a phone. |
