Gotta say, 1865 challenge conquest greece is quite annoying. France is pretty useless early on, and diplomacy is somewhat useful, but not too impactful. Doesn't help that Austria gets steamrolled no matter what.

After a stressful day of collecting data for my irl research, I finally finished the challenge conquest for Greece 1865. Gotta say, it's annoying. I was trying hard not to waste any medpacks or med corps, but I failed miserably, and all tries I did pretty much required the use of them. I used 20 medpacks in total and 3 med corps. I was quite wasteful at the end, and may only require the use of around 12 medpacks, but I just wanted to get it over with.  First time in a while that I reached 50 turns for any conquest. I now know what the ww1 generals felt about ww1. Thought it was a quick victory, turned into a grinder, with slow progress and minimum gains. stoic,please tell me 1914 and 1917 are easier, thanks. |

Definitely can't say it  1* countries are tough as hell in 1914, and I am certain that we have to conquer North and South America when playing for 1* countries in 1917. We simply don't have enough resources to keep USA alive while we are preoccupied with European adversaries. First time in my life as a ET player I was forced to build something like Maginot line to keep them at bay in Northern France and Spain. Therefore results between two runs with similar strategy will differ greatly in 1917. |

 Romania is really easy, like the difference between Greece and Romania is as far as mercury and pluto. Russia gets blitzed, France gets steamrolled without any help. The only real "problem" at first is Italy, tho they're nothing compared to the combined Prussia+German alliance+Bavaria front when using Greece. stoic , i think 1914 and 1917 will be a lot more difficult. Maginot lines will definitely be built. Maybe a 70 turn run will be a first for me . |
