Alright, I'm reassuring you all that I'm not going to troll Man Utd (though I'm itching to...) I have prepared for that kind of thing and not visited the Presentations and Polls for a week. 0-2 kind of things. Right.

boy...we are able to get into Europe on 5 year basis, we haven't finished under 10th in 7 years. You can't call us middle of the table. Still, I as an Everton fan am incredibly worried for my team. our primary striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been on the nurse's bed for 3 months, and he has only just returned to the training ground. We had to put Salomon Rondon up front, and our match against Watford has already confirmed my suspicion that he doesn't know how to finish. We also have Alex Iwobi on our wing, and two goals in two years (excluding his goal against Wolverhampton) doesn't exactly scream talent. Andros Townsend has been fantastic and has satisfied the firepower we needed at Turf Moor, Norwich, and Old Trafford. However, he isn't god and can't win us a match on his own. Our main problems come from our back four of Digne, Godfrey, Gordon, and ole Seamus Coleman our skipper. The first three lack the talent to keep Southampton at bay, and the other one just hit his 39th birthday. So..yeah. 0-1 West Ham 2-5 Watford 1-2 Wolverhampton with a projected 4-2 loss to Tottenham. I tend to call teams with little hope for European competition and little risk for relegation mid-table teams, Everton certainly belongs to that category. You guys bought too many big team dropouts (Iwobi, Gomes, Mina, James, etc.), they aren't good enough to bring you guys into top 6 and usually ask for high wages. Look at Leicester and Brentford. That's the way to make a team better. we literally picked up Gray from Leicester. Iwobi, I wholeheartedly agree. James just turned into Everton's Eden Hazard. At least he streamed on twitch tho :). Our main problem is that our defensive players with so much as a shred of skill are down for the count, as well as Doucoure and DCL, and if Rafa doesn't start using youth, our academy will be sent to the depths of hell along with Burnley. For Mina, and Gomes: They were good reliable additions. And if Yerry could finish we would have beaten Man United. For Brentford: I admire Brentford's idea of suicidally having fun, but they lost to Norwich at home. Old habits die hard, ig. I honestly would say Brentford will be in a relegation scrap if they don't improve their form by christmas. 3-1 Burnley loss and a 1-2 Norwich loss is a disaster. Yes, their style of football is incredibly entertaining, but you can't really say "screw it and press" and expect to finish in the top half. As for Leicester, they continue to amaze me. Losing again to Arsenal, but winning 4-2 to United is strange, but Ole is Ole ig.

They could be reliable additions, but as big team dropouts they will demand a higher wage than a player of same quality but bought from a less competitive team. Not everyone is Digne. BTW it's a bit harsh to ask Mina, a CB, to be a good finisher. Who do you think he is? Sergio Ramos ? As for youth, you first have to own a bunch of good youngsters. I can't recall another top class Everton academy product other than Rooney. And sometimes you simply can't grow youngsters and earn points at the same time. Think about all the talented kids Chelsea and PSG let go who developed into good players. As for Brentford, it's their management philosophy. They developed a system to find undervalued players, buy them at cheap cost, then sell them to richer clubs. Once you get better you get to retain your top players. That's what Leicester did for Maguire and Mahrez, and they kept Vardy.

Double the transfer fee and I still don't think it will be overpriced. Look at how much did Rodri cost, and the price tag on Declan Rice and Wilfried Ndidi. Chelsea absolutely robbed Leicester on that deal.

I'll agree with the rest, except that this is a Liverpool club! This isn't Luton or Reading! They have a decent pool to choose from, yet nothing comes out besides Simms and Rooney. Smh. Also, Moshiri's love story with Ancelotti ruined Everton. Rafa is a much better manager than Ancelotti could ever be with the Toffees.

Chelsea and PSG only started mass-producing talented youngsters until recent years, and they are backed by two of the largest cities in Europe. And especially when there is an established club right next to you, it makes you even less attractive for the youth. Ancelotti certainly did you guys dirty by leaving after one season, but the signings that summer are all pretty good purchases (excluding James), and DCL really stood out under him. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Benitez chose Everton.

At least the fans like him. Probably reminds them of our club: Shadows of our glory days of old, but still some skillful diginity between those feet.

how's that saying go??? Everyone loves Kante? Everyone loves N'Golo Kanté! N'Golo Kante is the second coming of Dimitri Payet. anyway, I will always think that Declan Rice will definitely be a better midfielder than Kante, and I say that he is the perfect captain for the English national team.

Rice and Kante aren't even the same kind of player. Rice is a typical DM who sits between CMs and CBs who intercepts balls and bring it forward. Kante is all over the place winning the ball and bringing it to the attacking side.

If you want that kind of midfielder, I can give you England's Slim Shady lookalike.
