Just so you know the jsonlint website found 2 punctuation errors and that cleared up the problem. Still working on the mod,.. ttyl Great that You found the error sean1917, bug hunting seems to be a key skill for modding. Two tipps: 1) I ALWAYS format text files I modify with tabs and spaces: If all keys and values are propper alligned as a list, it is much easier to work with XML and json, and I see errors directly. 2) I keep the files I work on, opened in my editor (NMM): If my mod crashes after my changes, I still can use undo/redo for all changes I did. This helps a lot to find and eliminate errors quickly. PS.: I just mod EW4 but, If I remember correct, can json-files be Im- and Ex-ported with Excel.

I also just have a tablet. MT, NMM and opera - That's a all. I found it quite comfortable to mod with, the only problem is, that I don't found any tool for texture compression. Do you use a physical keyboard sean1917

ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ,no keyboard. I did end up with a nice set of tablet keys, i use Glass Keyboards. The default style has the numbers already on the top row so i don't have to change from the main layout except for punctuation- which in MT Manager already lists for us. So the new keyboard speeds things up slightly. The app allows a certain amount of customization. I still haven't explored what all it can do.

Nice job Mr Himmler lol, anyways what is your mod Theme. The entire roster available for use is generals normally only spawned by the AI. I have made changes to their skill sets and ability scores also. They are standardized in price: bronze 325M, silver 550M and gold 1000M. Plus i have given the player more empty skill slots to work with... I have more in store for the mod i just haven't had the time to work on it lately.

So the new keyboard speeds things up slightly. The app allows a certain amount of customization. I still haven't explored what all it can do. I only use open source as keyboard app: I used for modding Hackers Keyboard, otherwhise OpenBoard. But you know sean1917, that you can even customize the symbol bar in MT, right? A physical bluetooth keyboard is a fantastic improvement for an android tablet - you gain a lot of extra workspace on the screen, the cursor keys, delete and shortcuts(NMM) make mod-editing so much easier: With this economical extra the tablet becomes a long running laptop - with propper grafic power. My second recommandation: try NMM as editor insted of MT's editor. It seems a bit double and MT and NMM are at least 80% code-identical! But they have the complementary specialisation together there a real great team. I loved the MT-editor for comfort and features, but MT can open only one single file at the time and while editing the MT filemanager is blocked. We have first to close the text or binary file, before we can do anything else. - If you use NMM as (XML, json, etc-)editor, the MT-filemmanager remains active after opening the file in the editor, you can always switch between MT and NMM (alt-tab). Keep the modded XML-files open in the editor and with MT open more (XML-) files, sign, install and even test your mod. If there is a problem, switch to NMM and use undo/redo to debug your changes. NMM never looses any edit, has all MT-editor features+ and MT with it's great file and apk-operations is not blocked from the MT-editor. MT/NMM works also with all APK edits on the fly:After save will MT ask, if changes should be updated/signed - untill you unload the apk in MT-Manager. - once set up they work perfect together. + NMM includes also the Hex-Editor with paste and save ! Only the Hex-Editor is worth the installation. The NMM suite is like MT <10MB and without ads or tracker (and no dropper - I think used for MT-updates ?). [MT] Set up NMM as external multidocument (XML-) editor:- Long_click any *.xml file
- Open with ...
- Type (left down)
- Text
- Long_click NNN Text ( not NMM !!! - this is the filemanager you also see if you select All ... )
- Set as default opening method
