Have you ever wondered how much medals you spent/will spend on your generals? Do you plan a new run that requires less grinding for medals? Or do you want to compare generals and use skill costs as a metric?
Then here comes the data you've been looking for
Based on the assumption that each tier has to pay the same price for the same skills (e.g. Nobunaga and Barbarossa for Leadership), this chart shows the description of each available skill at its max level. A very short explanation of the 10 steps that lead there is also provided. Some skills become much more effective when their range increases (radius: 1 --> 2) or they last longer (duration: 2 --> 3). This is also noted and usually happens at lv6 but some exceptions have it at lv8.
The right side shows the total costs (accumulated over 9 level-ups) as well as the individual steps. It is divided into grey/awakened, blue, purple and gold thus matching the generals' tiers. Notably, awakened generals "perform" as blue generals but require only grey costs. Unsurprisingly, gold generals are expensive to buy and upgrade so their skills are no different.
Active skills: Auras
Active skills: Damage to multiple targets
Passive skills: Buffs and Debuffs Passive skills: Healing and damage reduction
Passive skills: Stat boosts
And that's it. Hope this helps and happy medal grinding.

I would appreciate it if u do that. It did exist but too old and not that good. I can help in just one way for now, all purp gens with x ability have same cost and awakened gens keep their grey cost. I can provide cost for very few abilities for now cause i am almost max. Ask duke sir cause its casual for him to start new games.

No worries, my generals are almost all at their default skills and I still have lots of medals lying around from the friendliness testing. So it's only a matter of cloud s/l.

If someone (maybe yuanzhong could provide data for King Arthur's active skill -> description at max, increments and medal costs for each stage or any of these then I'd appreciate this I can only give you the information of max skill of Arthur 😂. 150% damage and 3 turns at lvl 10 and about 4k medals cost (lvl 2 cost 130, lvl 3 cost 160 and lvl 4 cost 200). I didn't farm medals in EW5 much so I'm lack of medals now 😭. Just spend all of my medals to upgrade Washington and Napo to lvl 7 before reading your post.

Thanks, max skill is the most important anyways, and with your data provided, this could be 130, 160, 200, 250, 310, 390, 490, 610, 790 (=3330 medals) if it's following similar skills' progression.

andrei, this helps tremendously and stat skills are no problem because we already know enough about them so they can be subtracted easily. I have some more questions though: - what are Washington's two abilities? - Is Genghis' Track the same as the other cavalry (50% vs arch + attack again after destroying) and is his Stomp still at 100% ? - what is Alexander's second ability (the "explosion")? - what is Napoleon's second ability (the "car") and is the first one unchanged?

Genghis has his Stomp unchanged. And Track is same as for other cav gens as well. Washington has 1st skill unchanged - Archery (30% chance enemy won't wounterattack, +70% damage to enemy archers. Second is changed to Incendiary (+75% damage to Cavalry, +50% damage to infantry) Napoleon has Plunder replaced with Supply (Plunder + 15% chance to attack again if enemy destroyed) Alexander has Phalanx replaced with Blast Same Phalanx + chance to attack again if enemy destroyed. Chance is not specified though.

And what of Barb's first skill? Or Peter? The skills are renamed but the effect is the same with addition that there is a chance to attack again if enemy is destroyed. Barb's skill is Strong Resistance instead of Samurai Peter's - Blitz instead of Marching. All infantry generals are buffed in this way. They decided to improve the class in general.
