Well I got only the 3 last strongholds left but I haven't even tried it yet. But meanwhile I'm doing separate games on inf and cav com. @ironduke I saw you had quite a nice inf run. Do think Petain or Peter is better?

For infantry, Petain is better for Conquests, Arena, and more troop-heavy campaigns, Peter is better in tower-heavy campaigns, general-heavy campaigns, is more versatile, and I would choose him simply because of that versatility and Destroy plus Rumor. I think that they are almost equal but Peter comes out on top. |

Do think Petain or Peter is better? Petain for defence and survivability, Peter for offence/attack so it depends on personal preference & playing style. |

And what would realistically be the infantry number I can deploy in a 8 Gen team to complete the hardest late game missions and temple/asgard? (strongholds aside since they use more than 8 mostly). So 3,4,5? 1 spot min to have for artillery. Could I do it with 5 inf, 1 arty and noby plus nelson/li?

You can do it, but it would be more efficient to utilise a 2nd arty or 3rd archer in most situations imo. |

And do you think Alex is better than Richard late? No, but with Caesar I really wanted another fort Buster, and he did better damage than Richard (and sometimes Bismarck!). He is a great Artifact holder (Thunder, anyone?) and honestly, Spy + Phanlax + great stats is simply fantastic, even if he is confined to melee. They are both great, but I really didn't need Richard all that much at that point. Both are great, though, so... |

Well I've been using Richard. I tried to use Alex but for some reason he seems very squishy. Idk if it's just in my head but seems so to mee. So I usually use thunder on richi mystle on nobi and gungir on li. He usually busts anything I rarely use another arty even. In some cases I switched gungir on richi when not needing arty. And for Wuhan (was that the maze one?) I actually used gungir on ceasar and did it that way. And I got surprised by inf com I was able to do volgograd earlier than ever! I think they shine most after 5th Era.
