Shrimant Peshwa Madhavrao Bhat, Captain, Eugene V. Debs, Manfred von Richthofen, how about Spanish Civil War? It had many very different factions including foreign powers. It would be kind of an army group but still independent decision making (POUM, anarchists and the govermemt would be different factions for example). Only problem is that some of the factions were really small. "Nationalists" and "Republicans" were alliances of different factions, so I suggest we should replace army groups by factions. For instance in the case of Nationalists- Falangist Militia, Army of Africa (commanded by Franco), Spainish Army supporting Rebels, Requetés (Carlist Militia), Italian Expeditionary Force, Viriatos (Portuguese Volunteers), Condor Legion (German Air Support Unit) and International Volunteers (mainly devote Catholics). Yeah, agree. But should we have whole foreign powers or only the expeditionary forces. With whole foreign powers France for example could choose to support the republicans. Also, I can make a thread with the rules and add a poll, whether or not do all the players support it. |

I think we should only have Expeditionary Forces of foreign powers, otherwise it won't be that much of a "Civil War". True, but I think all foreign powers should be able to send an expeditionary force, even if they didn't irl. |

I have a second option for how damage can be calculated. Maybe instead of just using a complex dice system, we could propose a bunch of different systems and just let the player choose which one they want to use, ranging from pure RNG to pure skill to pure arbitration by the player.
