Von Bismarck jr I know exactly why they call us Indians, but if you're born in Europe, you shouldn't call us Indians simply because they were the name given to us by you. Call us Native Americans, not Indians, or better yet call us by our respective tribes. But it's not like you'll know every Native American's tribe, so if you call us Native Americans, it's okay. And the Dutch-Turkish example wasn't really that great an anology, but I can't really think of another example where this happens, where someone thought a group of people were another group of people and thus named them after that.

You know what, to avoid anymore argument about this, i will declare this: You will not call the Native Americans Indians and if you do, i will edit Indian to Native American. So now i hope you say Native American just as a way to make sure i don't edit your stuff all the damn time.

Just say Natives for **** sake. If you find it too long you say NA (Native Americans) okay? If someone feels offended when people say Indians we will not, capice?
