I am relaxed  I don't think there is room for being angry for f2p gamers at least for now. If they start to make game impossible to complete without paying that's where I'll stop playing and supporting their games. I consider their IAP's more like cosmetics. They are absolutely irrelevant to complete their games. In case that will change that where I'll start treating their games just like other mobile trash. I think the problem is not the IAP itself - heck, there were always IAPs, right from EW4 - but that EasyTech deceived their customers by changing a F2P general to an IAP one. Of course, I’m nowhere near as outraged as that fella, and I know how to talk with a sense of respect  that's what i said in my first comment about easytech not being transparent and not telling fans first. I would rather they make all the premium generals that will become IAP cost money at the start of game release so fans would know what to expect, easytech didn't reveal this. that andrei guy is a muppet, he misinterpret what i said and assumed i don't understand things, so he doesnt deserve my respect, he is simply a clown |

Nobody likes to wait. But imo there is absolutely no real problem. Neither for f2p no for those spending real money. The argument used by this boy - "will obviously make the game harder" is ridiculous. Most of the players love ET games for challenge. Just use another f2p general whose difference from Otto will be marginal or at least not that significant so it can influence Your possibility to complete the game. There is part of the players who is not familiar with the specifics of the ET release policy (the game is in BETA). I can understand they can be furious. But again the general was not avaliable earlier anyway. But I support stoic in his thoughts that part of the content is locked for f2p users. They are using global trend of gaming industry. I don't think we can do anything about that. It is the world we are living in. the fact that these premium generals are locked means nothing, whats the point of locking a general that is going to be an IAP, only reason is easytech want to make more money. stop embarrassing urself |

We dont like locking threads but geez sometimes it just gets out of hand, ok, just quick comments:
Everyone has the right to have an opinion regardless of merit: You can think of IAP as the best thing ever or you can think of it as the most foul evil doing in the entire universe.
Both of these 2 arguments are valid and you have the right to express them in the forum, this is ok to do as long as there is no personal attacks on people who disagree with you because if you do insult others the staff will have take action that most likely will not please you.
So please respect other people point of view. Do not belittle of call people names just because they disagree with you.
For the curious, personally i have gone both ways with Easytech games, some i spent hundreds of $ on iap's and some I played completely free, it really depends if i have to grind and if the game itself gives the option to grind.
Also(this is funny but true) it depends if the forum members have figure out good strategies and tactics making fee play possible.

Lolz, first I am the manager -i know..it's crazy right ?  - and second Erich von Manstein sees all report as he is gmod basically he got most (but not all) admin powers. Edit:multiple people can report the same post but i didn't know the same person couldn't make multiple reports on same post since I am not normally the one reporting (or the one being reported) but I guess that feature makes sense: 1 report is enough to draw attention to the issue,the staff get notifications on that. |

Regarding the new IAP, here's something from the Q&A:
Q5: Players often refer to the game's in-app purchase generals as "god-generals". While the background of European War 7: Medieval is more than a thousand years from the Fall of Rome to the Hundred Years War, does this game still intend to follow the tradition of only three legendary generals? Is it reasonable to set only three god-generals for a theme length of a thousand years?
A5: We are not setting up only three generals this time, we will continue to introduce legendary heroes according to the times and game versions. And the legendary heroes will have their own legendary campaigns, plus the exclusive equipment. Legendary heroes will be obtained through different ways such as level gifts, achievement gifts, medal purchases, and internal purchases. Each one of the legendary generals purchased from the internal shop will also come with one privilege. The new legendary generals will also be continuously launched according to the game version.
So Otto is a legendary general "launched according to the game version" that will be obtained through "internal purchases."
Easytech has undergone a period of hardship. Due to the issues on permits, they weren't allowed to release new games and had to take old games off the shelf, in addition to a fine. This is the reason why in 2021 easytech hasn't published a single new game (if you look at their game development timeline, making a new game never took them more than a year before) and primarily focused on EW5 and GCR, two of the few games that are still on the shelf. My guess is those additional IAP items didn't give them the return they anticipated.
However, we as customers look at things from our perspective, not easytech's. We can understand easytech's need for more income, but it doesn't mean we have to accept it with open arms. At least for now, the bottom line of easytech's IAP strategy is to let F2P players still be able to complete the main body of the game.

though, its not full release yet and maybe they will give us new generals, just like they did for gcr. you guys also told that et plans are well hidden so we still have to wait. android ver is not even released tho, and it might be better if yall calm down first and see what will happen. it doesnt mean we should not make opinion on this, but atleast give some consideration to other opinions. and not because you are not in the same boat itll mean that you are not on the same side, neither mean they defend it as what yall call (which i will not say)
