Which generals are best to get first and who should I save up for???

buy these bronze generals first: diyha (infantry), adil (inhantry + healer), stillicho (range), antonita (healer), theodoric (cav) - optional because i used belisarius on cav and made him cav general with upgrades. These generals will help you reach macedonian dynasty and you will unlock basil who costs 2k medals. Buy him because he is the best gold cav general.
After basil, you can go for harald - best gold infantry.
Then buy alfred but he will take long time to upgrade and collect his noble cavarly units. Make sure to get his item from viking campaign. He is the 2nd best charge cav general in the game and he is free to get now.

Save up for Harald and Alfred, they have very high potential to be upgraded. Basil is a little bit expensive, I don’t really need him but if you want you can grab after Justinian. I'm sorry but what... you call basil expensive when justinian costs 300 more medals than him... Basil is the best gold cav general in the game, he has the best active skill for cav units, highest cav points, high title, a cav skill for damage and a country infantry skill for tanking damage if you want to do 1 counter infantry + 2 cavs, so the infantry protects the cav. You need to buy a cav general anyway because the free generals you get (aetius and belisarius are both infantry.) Justinian is not worth his price, he has a trash active skill, he has a high overall points (cav + infantry + range) but is not specialised in terms of points, he just has a range skill. the best thing about justinian is his emperor title. He is the best consul in the game but consuls are useless when conquests are super easy to complete anyway. Consuls will not help you in difficult campaign missions. Like i said, basil is the best first gen to buy followed by harald and alfred. |

What do you mean by he is free right now? he is not locked like all the other premium generals so you can buy him now (not IAP) and you can work on him |
