Guderian/Leeb if early game but Guderian/Rommel and Leeb/Rommel will be better overall

My first two generals were actually Guderian and Rommel, and did quite a job. Only problem was there is not too many heavy tanks for Rommel early on. So early game Guderian/Leeb seems okay, later Guderian/Rommel or Rommel/Leeb

the Guderian-Leeb tandem really helps in early game. But they won't survive alone in 1942 Pacific.
Guderian and Leeb still do good in the Middle-to-Late Game, but they'll need help.

Guderian/Badoglio is what I'll go. Though Guderian/Rommel does look powerful.

How do Badoglio compares to Leeb? I tried Badoglio in the Balkans Campaign (where he's free) with Elefant and compared it to Leeb's damage. Leeb's damage is pretty high reaching like 115-130 then to Badoglio's damage something like 95-110, I guess.
