well theoritically f2p still could get T6 units from upper right corner shop. today i saw 10 frag teutonic knight for 2000 medals. LOL. but still its obtainable. although upgrading them to high level could be a tremendous task to do, if this is the only way to get their fragments. btw what is a raid that u guys talking about all the time? i've fimished attila's hard campaign but no raiding. After you have completed Attila's, Alfred's etc. hard (or normal) campaign/chapter there will be a new option "Raid" on a bottom right corner of the menu. You just spend your tickets (we got 10 as a gift after updating the game) and just collect your rewards...  |

It's better to have a chance to get t6 fragments than not to have it at all  Besides, initial stats can be deceptive. I think t6 have the best growth rate in the game. I'll wait until yuanzhong will upgrade it. With one ticket per day I am in no rush Conquistadors is low priority unit for me. I like mamluk and templar more than it  . El Cid legend isn't autoable, and I'm really a lazy strategist  (but a hardworking farmer) As I pointed out I have plenty of time to wait |

El cid's hard mode raid does give conquistadors fragments and you get 10 of them for completing normal mode too but the unit itself is pretty weak, doesn't worth the raid tickets imo It's better to have a chance to get t6 fragments than not to have it at all Besides, initial stats can be deceptive. I think t6 have the best growth rate in the game. I'll wait until yuanzhong will upgrade it. With one ticket per day I am in no rush I was hoarding Mercenary orders for them tbh but since they didn't release it decided to go with ravenna/woad. t5&6 units probably have better stats but mobility reduction seems a big deal for archers right now(hopefully they won't nerf this one ...) |

The other rapid march generals either have to use Woad (Robin) or will use better counter inf instead, which means they need Woad's chase. Narses is stuck with Garrison so he can use Mongolian. Of course, if you think Garrison/Heavy Phalanx + Mongolian > Swiss + Woad, then by all means drop Woad. |

You can, but after all Varangian isn't defense inf. I think the infantry unit here serves to protect the archers, which isn't Varangian's specialty. Without Swiss you can still use Legion or Lombardy, and you will get the latter eventually for Robert the Bruce. If you are facing pressure from mainly archers and need a melee inf as front liner instead, then the t4 units should do a better job than Varangian, if you can't afford the t5 Janissary. None of them have chase so you will still need Woad. However, if you want to go all-out offensive, then Varangian is the best choice. |

is charge dodgeable? if it so, it would be an interesting mechanics. i'm considering saving up for mamluuk archer instead of going all in for noble cav, but dunno when that mamluk is gonna be available for f2p like me. what do you guys think? Honestly speaking, after this update f2p players can forget about t6 units. Realistically only tier 4 and 5 are within reach. Only those who have Saladin can hope for upgrading Mamlukes eventually. Why after this update? Did the max level go up? I haven't played in a few weeks so I probably missed a lot. |
