Because of the thousands he led the murder of? Because of the offensive war he led? I'm not saying he was a Himmler type guy, but he's definitely not someone to be liked based on history. I know. Was it that hard to merely cede the portion of land? And then he declared war on the Soviets. That being said he was a great Battlefield Tactician. Yep, agree. Continuation war wasn't a defencive one for Finland. Also gave the order to "shoot on the spot" and commit war crimes like shooting unarmed people without trial and causing the death of over 10 000 prisoners of war in war camps in the Civil War. |
