Thanks. I guess I should stay away then. Early missions make him look powerful

I feel sad for De Gaulle, I mean he was a nice leader and all while beating the germans unlike others (For a while) during fall gelb created by the legendary Erich von Manstein, so I do feel Gaulle was neglected by easytech

Yeah they did that just so people can waste money on a famous general.

i think montgomery is overrated. he had way more tanks and technologie and air support than rommel had. Still he failed several times

Well, I guess make general stat based on who they are remembered. Famous generals are strong in WC3 while others who were remembered as 'loser' received underrated stat. Well, for making a game, you need some good and bad generals.

Overrated generals eh? anyone heard Eisenhower? Best example of overrated He was a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe. He was responsible for planning and supervising the invasion of North Africa in Operation Torch in 1942–43 and the successful invasion of France and Germany in 1944–45 from the Western Front. In 1951, he became the first Supreme Commander of NATO. Wiki disagrees with you. Eisenhower was also a President of... the greatest country in the world!

Hmm idk... because even with all of those stars, Manstein and Zhukov both are still considered better than Eisenhower. If anything, at least Eisenhower is a flexible general with stronger stars in weaker areas (such as navy). That's somewhat making up the difference. I'm not saying that Easytech made WC3 balanced as a game, but at least it's sorta a decent way to set that up with 3 different choices for purchasing a marshal.
Back to Eisenhower and his stats
I would say Eisenhower is legitimately a very good general in real life, especially coordinating vastly complicated operations with multi-national forces, dealing with logistics.
