I think Nur Din is solid although it’ll take an investment. He’s like the Basil of archer gens to me without his weapon he’s not great without one but if you put another non-f2p general’s weapon on him and upgrade it the only thing you’ll be missing out on is the +1 level to master of archery and ranged tact which does buff him a bit but he can still reach over 108 archer points with atillas weapon plus a damage boost throw a steel crossbow on him he goes up to 117 and his master of archery skill gets upgraded to 3. That’s arguably a better archer gen than Cid just because of the active skills. Well there's also the unique unit bonus that's missing from Nur Din, even having the 1 Camel archer would give +40% attack bonus to him (but that's locked behind a paywall unfortunately). Cid is better because his item is not locked. And also the active skill of Nur Din is arguably not as good as Cid because Cid can work with infantry units (the versatility is very nice for some campaigns). |

Both with steel crossbow and “Tizona” lvl10, last missions Nur Al Din's legend hard.   |

I think to hide his weapon behind a pay wall was yet another bad (or, at least, questionable) decision. Players with IAP generals won't use him because they have way better archers like Attila or Robin, and f2p players won't use him because without his weapon he is just a mediocre general. One good thing about Nur ad-Din is his special chapter. This is a good opportunity to upgrade our best generals. f2p: when talking about buying him for mission resources: can you please tell me which resources you get in in his hero mission in hard mode? i am stuck in normal mode (jerusalems's counter-attack stage 2) and am not yet convinced, and have my cloud archive ready to reverse the medalpruchase. is he even worth to buy him for resources? |

Sorry, it is impossible for me to say after such a long time after completing it. Maybe players with still unfinished missions of his campaign can help. But I recall hard mode chapters had good rewards. I can't say whether it is worth to buy him or not. I looked at his special chapter as a game content available for a f2p player and I wasn't going to miss this opportunity since I think that our income of medals is quite steady in EW7 (it is definitely better and more stable than in the last GoG3 game). |

thats true. i did enjoy just playing some new missions today not just conquest money farming and waiting for update^^. but i am quiet greedy with my medals out of habit, but dont know what to do with them: nothing feels actually good. i did not buy any mercenary orders yet either, since its not the same as single draws in earlier version (which i missed unfortunatly)  but thanks for the reply, maybe sb else knows... or has opinions on his hero legend |
