I presume Basil will get cataphracts, Martel maybe frankish axeman,, Khalid camel raiders, but what about Alexios and Zhengi, elefant archers,?

There wont be any units left, they will have to make new ones or generals will have same special units.

I am quite positive that one of Eastern Roman emperors (either Alexios or Basil) will get Varangians as a special unit. No-one said that Basil should be a cavalry general at all costs. Headhunter is a decent Infantry skill too  |

I almost guessed the new bond right. No Charles Martel, though. Poor grandpa was left at the retirement home... These bonds could be a nice way to convince players to use generals that would otherwise be ignored. A unique item might not be a good enough reason for using Charles Martel... I actually liked Martel as a cataphract commander and was a bit disappointed when they nerfed "charging cavalry expert" skill. Almost sure that I will purchase him with a unique weapon. I really hope they will change some items too eventually. A bow with Headhunting is a nuisance, especially when none of Archer generals have this skill nowadays. |

The big question is though: which of these new weapons will be f2p? what do you mean by that? The triumphs are related to weapon upgrades and hard mode campaigns and the new mode doesn't seem to have any P2P exclusive rewards. |

A normal one and a p2w one  |

Charles Martel will definitely get Frank Axemen, Khalid will probably get Camel Riders, Basil maybe War Elephants, Zengi gets Elephant Archers, and Alexios gets Varangians. Basil and Alexios could be swapped. Saladin's bond is now SUPER good, and combining that with a good item, a NEW buff to his already OP privilege, and a bonus to Zengi is ridiculous. I am still waiting for Olga's master arsonist. |

They definitely should create another bond between several Eastern Roman Emperors too. We have enough p2w bonds already |
