The Good: I like the way you can choose & upgrade individual units (seems more important to spend medals on upgrades/ACE than generals). That once a day you can do some easy autoplay farming The graphics are pretty nice too. The Bad: The computer autoplay for PvP, Tourneys, & the extra missions is F'ing *Auto Corrected*ed. OG Starcraft dragoons made better choices. The battle maps are generally much smaller and seem way less epic. With most battles over in 12-16 rounds instead of 28-34. There is nothing Glorious about these generals. Except for Angel I sometimes forget to even use them until the battle is almost over. Medals seem much better spent ACEing your units. I would much rather have them back on individual units as the fist of blitzkrieg tactics. Overall, I'm a little disappointed, but still worth playing. I haven't got to aliens yet where WC3 went into the crapper. Yeah I experienced that too about not using generals before the mission ends. To me is: The Good Great graphics and fancy colors of terrain The Bad Your stuck in higher levels unless you stregthen your units more The Ugly 400$ for a Zeus Tank, oh god help us hahaha

Update: I've now made it halfway through Alpha, spent over a month banking/auto-farming with almost no real play just to max everything just to keep moving forward and decided that this game is not worth trying to finish. It is the worst case of "pay to win" I think I've ever witnessed and I'm pretty disgusted with Easytech about the time I've wasted on the whole thing.

Pros: ehh...follows up the 1975 aliens from WC3 I guess? Also, the customisation thing for the units is pretty innovative. Cons: Generals are like skills, you can only paratroop from cards, has multiplayer, IAPs are outrageous, the maps are ugly, no legion mode... Also, itsnotatumor, 1960 was way worse. Why is Czechia still part of Germany? Why is half of the world vaporised? Why is there still something called East Prussia? (At least 1975 Aliens was fun and challenging for a sort of 'Final Boss')

Pros : -Better graphics! -Better English(?) -You can upgrade your units and know what you are upgrading(whether it is the defence, attack, etc.), unlike GoG or GoGPW where you upgrade your units but you don't notice what are you upgrading. -The generals have different skills( ) -There is multiplayer/something resembling multiplayer. Cons : -There is NOTHING glorious about the generals. They lose their character! I would've loved a combination of GoG generals and WC3 generals, where each general has their own pros and cons and command their own troops. This is the first point that GoG/GoGPW beats GoG2. -The return of the cards is not as engaging as the WC2 cards. -Easytech still believes that you can play without a tutorial. Ok, you can say,"The first levels are the tutorial!", I say that a tutorial should be seperate. By combining the tutorial with the campaign, you lose the flexibility that WC3 or GoG has. This is the other point where GoG/GoGPW beats GoG2. -Story. There is no story, no plot, nothing. At least explain the background of the campaign. GoG/GoGPW was set in WW2 or Cold War and before every level, there are "briefings" from the HQ or the other generals. This is the third point where GoG/GoGPW beats GoG2. -Legion Mode, where art thou? Perfect review!

Its not worth much but I would like to give my opinion aswell.
Glory of generals core was the fact that you were a general. Like each level you would command an army group and the ai would have theres, you were not like the commander of the whole battle and I liked that. Ok so
Good: Nothing
Bad. Levels are small and not historical. Also I personally prefer having the army given to me instead of building my own since i feel each level should stand on its own. Not be affected by previous choices Also the freeium direction this game is going. The graphics seem to emphazise coolness over a clear and consise view like EW4 gives. The generals suck terribly. Really just the freemium stuff bothers me the most. I feel like they are trying to widen the audience instead of making a good game. But thats just my opion.

Story 4/10 I didn't understand it the story line since I thought we had to stop the Soviet Union and United States from making more deadly weapons. Instead we got different general like "Wolf"
Game play I hate the challenge since we can't use these special cards to help us. We have to keep upgrading our units and farming lots of it.
AI is still to easy once your used to the levels.
I didn't enjoy this game that much I only stop at America. This game needs some work like making us sign in with Google play for PVP

This is my ideal game I enjoy games were I can just play and not be distracted by some little kid chatting rubbish in chat. I prefer games with no chat because I can happily grind away. I do enjoy the unknown what will the next mission be land or sea based. The side missions are great but they get harder and harder why can the a.i use cards but we cannot.i also seem stuck in Europe arena even though I'm level 51 I feel this puts new players off because they know that they can't beat a lv 51 player with a lv 35 mammoth also a glitch occurred in the market yesterday it said 21000 green cards for 150 medals I obviously jumped of of my skin and pressed buy nearly cracking my poor phones screen a few tears later and tissues after not receiving any green cards but losing my medals I carried on playing anyway. There are a few glitches in this game I hope easytech sort them because this is one of the best games I've played. While there are negatives there are many positives this is a offline and online game it's very addictive the graphics are amazing there are lots of side missions plenty of units lots of missions that can be replayed player level up does not take long. I'm stuck on south America mission 2 at the moment but I've just unlocked the silo so I'm hoping having two of them will help clear some enemies. Thanks guys
