Basil didn't put up a significant fight to Simeon before the update, now he really doesn't, but at least he beats Hardrada. Maybe Cnut too. Because triple Varangians are that good. Buying him during Basil-mania might not have been a mistake after all. |

Well, I hate the fact that we have so many good Melee Inf now. If they did change Basil to a Inf General, why not make him perfect, like give him Inf Tactician instead of that Strategist, or Leadership instead.

If they did change Basil to a Inf General, why not make him perfect, like give him Inf Tactician instead of that Strategist, or Leadership instead. Because he is free. I think they should make them the best to compensate what taken from 2 good Cav Gen. I guess the price of Cav gen going to increase like oil price Nah, they don't remove useless "consul" skills even from IAP generals. andrei is right: there is no point to replace it now, making Basil, all of a sudden, better than many IAPs. |

I confess I can't understand ET all the time So, Martel's buff is a big mystery to me. Especially taking into account that they decided to give a special mercenary unit (not the best one, but we don't have many of them anyway) to a silver tier general. And I can't explain the existence of bad IAPs either. But the logic of online sales says to me that paid services should be better than free ones |
