Any guide/thoughts on 1950 Poland? Dat missile site in Krakow and neutral Germany and Romania nearby sound like an excellent combo Blitz into the low countries. Reinforce the USSR assault in the Mid-East & Balkans region. When NATO counterattacks, force them into a standstill in Germany. Avoid spawning in Warsaw and Krakow cuz UK will fire missiles and nukes into them.

Walkthrough for Accumulate Supplies 9, Hold the ground 8, Rescue the Ally 8
My generals:
Guderian: Marshal (280 hp)
Patton: L. General (200 hp) – (no rank upgrades)
Badoglio: M. General (170 hp) – (no rank upgrades)
Govorov: M. General (170 hp)
Ozawa: Major (100 hp)
Eye covered 1: M. General (170 hp), 3 stars artillery, 3 stars movement, 3 stars air
Level 3 plain fighting, level 2 explosives, level 1 supply, level 1 artillery barrage, level 1 ace forces
Eye covered 2: L. Colonel (120 hp), no upgrades (all 1 star attack, no movement stars)
Alright, let’s start with Rescue the Ally 8:
This has been covered a bit before, but I’ll try to be more exact. The mistake I kept making was I was trying to south with Guderian on super tank and a general on motorized infantry. That was useless. Ignore the south, and don’t but a general on the infantry.
Instead, put Govorov on the field artillery, Badoglio on the battalion artillery (1 range one), Patton on the heavy tank, Guderian on the Super tank. That’s 4 generals. Save your other 2 generals (I used my two eye covered ones with only 1 star on tank) for armored cars. Don’t worry, they will mostly just be meat shields, so the more hp the better.
1st turn: Move everyone west. Restart until you get a blitzkrieg with Guderian. Get him as far west as you can while still being able to hit something (I think he attacks the alien carrier). Whack the UFO with Govorov and then Badoglio. Keep the commando with your group and hope someone attacks him (instead of your better units). I don’t think there’s room for Patton to hit the UFO without getting him stuck behind the river, so just move him northwestish.
Move the motorized infantry to the southeast by the river so one of the aliens has to come to him if they want to kill him (they did eventually for me)
2nd turn: Move Guderian as far west as you can while still staying out of range of the NW tower/base. You should be right next to the river. Whack the carrier that has been bothering your ally (Vasilevsky). Move the whole rest of your group west, trying to stay out of range of the tower near your starting base as much as possible. Do not engage the aliens in the NW yet (I don’t think). I think this turn (and the first) the starting tower hit Govorov. That’s fine.
Turn 3: I think this is the turn you can build your first armored car. Put your best general on it, and move it west after you move the rest of your force. It helps if it has movement speed.
Engage the aliens in the NW. Do as much damage as you can to the city UFO, and to the other UFO as you are able to. Govorov is probably lagging behind because he is slow.
Have Guderian cross the River and attack whomever he can.
Turn 4: I think this is the turn you take the alien city to the NW. Take it with someone who can hold it for at least a turn (I think maybe your armored car is in range?) Build another armored car if you can. Once you’ve held it for a turn, and have your 2 armored cars, you can empty it of all your important units and just build cheap light infantry to hold it, as long as you’ve gotten rid of nearby UFOs.
There should be 2 UFOs to the south, one on the level 2 city, one 1 space above it. Move Guderian 1 space above the 2 UFOs and attack the one not on the city. Move your forces south as possible to help defend Vasilevsky. Avoid towers as possible (there was one turn where I had to put a bunch in towers range to kill a UFO, but it was okay).
Turn 5: Guderian should still be alive and the city to the south empty. Finish off any nearby weak enemies towards the end of the round with him, then have him hit the city. He is unfortunately too weak to kill it in one shot.
Turn 6: The south city should be empty again. Hit it with Guderian then capture it.
Turn 7: Once you have enough money, you can move Guderian out to help defend Vasilevsky, and put in light infantry to defend the south city.
That’s really it. After this point the level was almost too easy. There’s no more aliens if they don’t have any cities. Someone said the village in the SE could spawn aliens but it never did for me.
Yay! Hopefully you just won.
Accumulate Supplies 9:
Okay, you need 200 gold, 300 metal, 800 oil. You should have all the resource wonders at this point.
The good news is, if you literally just keep all the oil-producing structures you start with, you win the game.
The bad news is, you will need to move your units, which uses oil, and the aliens love to steal your junk.
The generals:
Guderian on super tank
Badoglio on Rocket artillery
Govorov on Field artillery
Patton on armored car (starts on your Mexican capital)
2nd eye covered on Commando
1st eye covered on Battleship
Ignore the carrier
Mistakes I made at first: I tried to put a general on the carrier (not helpful), I put Ozawa on the battleship (your battleship doesn’t need to hit hard, it needs lots of hp), and I captured the second oil rig with Guderian.
Do NOT move your carrier or your super tank EVER in this level. They use too much gas. Move your battleship ONCE to get on the oil field then die there.
1st turn: Restart until you get a blitzkrieg (no retaliation) on Guderian against the UFO two spaces above him.
Move Badoglio on rocket artillery two spaces to be in range of the turret for later, but attack the alien carrier instead. Move Govorov in range to attack the carrier (I think it’s a plains space?) Move your battleship onto the oil field. Move patton on armored car as close as you can to the northern oil field (should be able to take it next turn).
Move your commando into the sea
Attack UFOs with carrier (in general)
2nd turn: Take the oil field to the north with Patton.
Once the UFOs by the sea port die, move in your commando to take over the sea port.
Also, it’s okay to use a rocket now and then as you will have more than enough money/steel. Or consider commandos or something. Just don’t use oil if you can help it.
3rd on: Once your battleship dies, move your commando over to hold the oil field for another turn or two. Once the carrier hit by your artillery dies, okay to move Govorov one more space to attack the turret each turn.
Hopefully you won.
Hold the ground 8:
Okay, this one was really tough. I’m going from memory so things may not be 100% accurate, but I’ll try. You’ll have to adapt to your generals anyways.
Generals: Patton on Super tank in city, Badoglio on Field artillery, Govorov on rocket artillery. Put Ozawa on the battleship. You still have 2 generals left. Save them.
Turn one:
Move Govorov on rocket artillery SW and hit the high level UFO.
Move Badoglio on field artillery to the space directly under the city. Leave Patton in the city
Move the commando to the space just south east of the city
Move Ozawa on battleship down one space and shoot the UFO.
Okay, end your turn. There should be two UFOs and a carrier surrounding your base. Now things get tricky….
Turn 2:
Hit the alien UFO to the SW with Govorov again.
Attack the UFO to the NORTH with Badoglio, then finish him off with Patton. Patton should level up.
THEN move your battleship back into the port, hit the other UFO, and Patton now should be able to just barely finish him off.
Now move Patton up two spaces, hit the empty level 1 town, and paratroop in to take it over. Move your commando into your other town.
Whew.
Turn 3:
I’m not sure if it’s turn 3 or 4, but once you get enough cash buy a Batallion artillery and put a high hp artillery general on it (used my eye-covered M. General).
Keep putting light infantry in the top city (and main city as needed) to keep them as long as you can. It’s okay to put Patton back in your main city long enough to save up for another Super Tank and Guderian.
Move Govorov back into the level one city and hit carriers as needed from there. Switch him out with your battalion artillery for more retaliatory strikes later on.
That’s it! I’m not sure if this level might not be much easier if you had a 5star air and could take the other two cities with fighters/paratroopers, but I beat it the way listed above.
Good luck!
