Yep, yuanzhong posted the pictures of both at level 15 and the difference is noticeable. I have no explanation "why"... Poor Charlemagne.... yep, sad but true. i'm disappointed by charlie. his skill set is broken imo although 2nd expensive iap general. my takes; his units hospitallers are clearly inferior to teutonics. even has 5% lower charge rate besides huge gap on other stats. with that type of stats disparity, you expect to have other intangible benefits like forest march or mountain march. has forced march active skill and melee inf expert+50 inf stats but no rapid march. so what's the point of that much of melee inf skill and stats? wasted plain land dmg buff. it's hard to find plain cells. not good also having saladin's lesser version of previlage

fix idea; give mountain march to hospitallers and give rapid march to charlie, with that u can mix varangian+hospitaller+teutonic. that means forced march+ignoring forest&mountain march effects+def against range&melee. now you have very fast well rounded tank

Hospitallier is useful for territory and conquests because in addition for healing itself, it also heals nearby units. Meaning if you have medical tents and hospitaller, then you would have a 15% heal bonus. However, Teutonic has damage buff, which is also pretty Op. I would say Teutonic has the edge here.
