Which general(s) were amazing for you, but are not much used or popular among other players? Dunno about yall but I like using Theodora with Alfred to bust cities fast and to heal it before they leave and bust another city |

Probably Zengi, he was really good. I actually really used Athelfrith a lot, his Master Arsonist was fantastic, and of course, everyone knows about Olga.

Dunno about you all, but I have been using Pepin the Short. Good skills, decent title, and decent stats.

There are many good low tier generals in this version of EW, most of them only good early game, but I think there are some gems that you can bring them to late game lineup: Theodora (becoz of the bond with Justinian), Athelstan (coz the Master Arsonist lvl3), Matilda of Boulogne (coz Calmness lvl3), and Eleanor of Aquitain (coz Medical Mastery lvl2).
All of them are kinda support general, though.

Sunicas. I like his ability. It save me a couple of time in the Hero Legends.

Even before the last update Charles Martel was an interesting option. With newly released special weapon he can be an interesting "charging cavalry + ranged" hybrid. Headhunting is a good skill if you have 100% probability to charge or attacking with powerful archers. Without having a single ranged skill Martel can do more damage than many "ranged" generals.

Definitely Baldwin, very underrated. I would say he is the second best f2p cav gen even without weapon.

What y'all think about Baibars? I haven't used him, but seems very nice for secondary charge cavalry general, also cheap
