I prefer to take good of both worlds  . My legion of Martel is one unit of Noble cavalry and two Imperial bowmen. I haven't upgraded his item yet, so use him mainly in conquests. I'm waiting changes for Simeon and don't spend 50 medals to use him as infantry general with 2 Varangians and one Scottish spearmen. |

He won't change by himself After I get 2375 medals for test Hardrada, Chinese general and Subutai. PS IMO Hardrada wins after this tests, Subutai will be second and Chinese get bronze medal. |

Bro, I'm full of charging cav gens (Alfred, Nevsky, Baldwin, Friederick- yes I use him on triple NC-, Simeon and Edward). We can say Martel is a good hybrid gen |

We can say Martel is a good hybrid gen Baldwin can be decent charge general, but IMO he is good melee cavalry general, who can easy save our best general and not to die after this, who can fight with ranged cavalry generals, and Martel better as charge general, Edward and Simeon now good infantry generals same like Belisarius, Freddy melee cavalry support general, not charge and not first line fighter, best Sputnik for Baldwin. Only Nevsky full charge general, even Alfred not the full charge, he always have many other function, he is the best war gear to destroy city walls. Martel very good charge and it's not a pity to send him first in any azzhole, best from other for this, fearless general. |
