why isn't there a thread about this yet? No more start and try to take the first city. Edmund and Edward Attack me with everything they have. And I lose my principal units. Obviously there is a event that make Friendly (I hope they are allies) units to appear. But I haven’t even achieve to triggered it.
any suggestions? Attack the Central City or the south one? Or just wait for the enemy to lose all his army and then attack? I've been losing my sanity for 2 days. Help!

Once you annihilate one of the enemy gens that are attacking, the enemies will abate their attack. Afterwards, counter attack to take the western city. This should give you reinforcements. Then take the city south of the city you just took. Then split up your troops to attack London and the other city.

upgrade your units, use wardrums Defeat enemy generals appears as reinforced enemy I have hard time in this too... Taking the lvl V city, likely London, triggers Edward II's return to the NW, but it also summons allied reinforcements to the SW.

Or just wait for the enemy to lose all his army and then attack? I've been losing my sanity for 2 days. Help! I went for the southern city first while keeping the enemy busy and defending in the north. Generals used were Alfred as special guest with lv11 Noble Cav x3, El Cid on triple archers, Roland on the bottom left legion and Justinian on the remaining one. The key for me was to build up economy fast, so I used Roland to steal iron and have Isabella refresh it (and later Theodora). +60 iron helps a lot in recruiting castle units and upgrading cities+workshops.
Second turn build swordsman for Theodora and frankish axemen (mine had lv6) for Narses. Third turn more axemen and scout cav (or was it light cav?) for Baldwin. The southern general that has the resource stealing skill was killed on this turn, too.
Once the southern city is captured (~turn5) and occupied by Narses/Justinian, I put Cnut in one of the newly spawned units in the west to capture the nearby city faster.
There are plenty of turns (22) so take your time and play an economic game. It's also helpful to put your key units in the northern city/castle and let them be targeted from 1-2 tiles while the city walls are still up. They will take little damage and Cid and Alfred can pick up the attackers one by one. Single stack swordsmen can soak up 1-2 attacks and - in combination with Baldwin's skill - make sure that your damage dealers are always protected.
PS: I also had all the campaign units on their highest possible level.

What about Wallace's sword in case someone decided to buy this IAP. Where is the Sword?!

So U obviously don't know how good Nevesky is? To get Nevesky's unique weapon U have to complete Second Barons' War. To do that U need war drums. Medals and war drums are easily replaceable in this game . U get 110 medals per day not counting raids or events and U get at least 4 or more war drums per day too from shop. Both are easily replaceable supplies. War drums are only a small cost to get the weapon.

thats true. but i think the struggle with some of the hard missions would be greater than with battle for power normal.
