How can you do Templar before John Lackland? And do they get very hard? Templars' are unlocked after the completion of the campaign. It is not dependent on John's anyhow. And yes, they are hard. Good amount of high level tents and all other gear are necessary not yo burn drums as crazy. sounds a bit scary coming from you  maybe i should stop running around with lvl 1 tents and 2nd lvl def gear. |

Im just under 10/50 in John, and that is already very hard... 😅 And stuck in 6/8 ottoman campaign on hard mode, so no templars for me yet.
Guess my war gear and especially unit levels are just not up to the task for now... too bad becouse the pharaoh treasure mission gave lots of nice upgrade materials.
(how do you even have time to heal with tents in these? Don't you use damage/defense gear?)

Of course in case You don't have 5 lvl3 deff gear and 5 lvl2 deff gear of each type like me You will probably burn a lot of drums. And yes, I've spent a lot of drums in total anyway to complete all 50 missions |

I know but your units are usually attacked every turn in those missions, so if you put tent instead of defense, you take more damage and it nullifies the effect of tent? And especially on first enemy turn, my frontline gens die anyway in one round, so not even drums can quarantee victory...

Level of the units is essential. You will probably have to upgrade them. Tents are of course to be used mid-fight. |

Yeah, most of my t5-6 units are only somewhere between lvl5-11... except varangian lvl14.

Same here - can’t even do first mission of john lackland lol. Just need to wait for units to be much better… guess I wont come back to JL any time soon

Yeah, same here still can't finish 1st round of lackland treasure. Have high lvl units still can't win. I'll pass this, its like the last round of expedition with iap generals.

We really only need to complete 13 rounds in expedition, though... You always get 1 pass coin for free, and you get 15 each month from regular territory battles. So one for each of that months expeditions. (and only 12 after completing that epic battle, but I haven't won any of the new ones yet...)

Hope the next update is a good one for f2p players (Saladin excluded ) Their next sale being another measly two day one is SUPER deflating. Super disappointed these days and increasingly disinterested. |
