Not seeing any content for Kievan Rus or the Mongol Yoke. A shame, really; medieval Russia is a really fascinating topic, and I feel that Easytech missed some amazing opportunities in not setting some campaigns and conquests in various periods, such as the slow unraveling of Kievan Rus, the Mongol Invasions, the scramble among Muscovy, Novgorod, Tver, and others for the position of dominant Russian power, and the ultimate defeat of the Golden Horde at the hands of Dmitri Donskoy. Then again, we could be pleasantly surprised by a new conquest farther east than we've ever been taken before. Just to point out: Dmitriy Donskoy defeated Mamai who technically was the Usurper of the power in Golden Horde. So that wasn't ultimate defeat of the Horde. In 2 years Moscow was burnt by Tokhtamysh...

I think the main point was that we have two chapters of War of Roses and none of the events above I think it's mainly because ET don't want (though why?) to draw any additional models of Eastern European and Asian units. And you can't create campaigns for Golden Horde, for example, with MR alone Some remodeling of Seljuk or Sassanian units is possible, I presume, but I don't see any possible models for East European campaigns. Boyars vs. Polish Hussars is all what we have

I think they can just add everything they want since EW6 had many campaigns not in Europe, but in the Americas. I loved the medieval India chapter in Timurβs hero legends. I would love to see a proper use of elephants in medieval south Asia, and of course something more I donβt know (just like medieval Russia or something about Chinese or Japanese campaigns of this period).

They could just add a multiplayer mode instead of new campaigns/conquests. Or a public rating system for wins in battle mode.

I will always prefer new conquests and campaigns over multiplayer. Playing with other people should only really be an add-on.
Anyways, I really love that the picture includes snow. I don't ever remember seeing that in any of the other pictures.

Details of Michael VIII and Manuel I

So Manuel I has Charles' skill of firearms expert. So does that mean he's going to have a unique unit that uses muskets?
Also, I'm so happy that there's actually a general with this skill. I was afraid I was never going to be able to properly utilize any musketeer units. Of course, there's still the issue if he's even good enough to keep around.

The dude is literally going to be an infantry tank. He already has "Heavy Byzantine Infantry" as his unit. Next up, he has an active ability that helps him and others survive longer. He has the extra defense with shield skill. Last but not least, he has a skill that allows him to regen health at the start of the round. Not exactly what anyone wants but he do he.

Very disappointing, truth be told.
Manuel doesn't have a "Ranged Tactician" ability to be competitive with top tier Archers. And his active skill is a trash.
And Michael's weapon is a pain to unlock.

This is just the Generals I preview. Don't lose hope just yet. You can give up when Generals II doesn't go as you want. For me, I wanna see Suleiman and/or Li Shimin.

WHY NO LI SHIMIN!
Anyways, we got Suleiman at least. He's magnificent, he leads the Sipahi, he's Suleiman. So somebody tell me why on earth he has such a (potentially) trash active? I'm actually reconsidering if I'm actually going to buy him because he's definitely not going to enter into my current setup at this rate.
