Now you can get a chance to win the in-game general Saladin and other rich in-game items by playing the "Europa Conqueror" and sending victory screenshots in EasyTech community event! [Platform] Join the event in EasyTech related platforms such as: Twitter/X, EasyTech Facebook Group, Discord, Tieba, TapTap. [To Join the Event] Send a screenshot of passing "Europa Conqueror" under the event post (any country is allowed, and the screenshot needs to have your watermark attached), be sure to include your in-game id of European War 7 in your reply (you can find your id in the in-game store or settings screen, click and copy it to the event post). You can choose different countries to finish the Conquest and join the event multiple times. I gotta say. The newer challenges for Basil and Hadrada would be annoying for newer players

I gotta say. The newer challenges for Basil and Hadrada would be annoying for newer players I agree. My "fully" upgraded Basil II with gems felt necessary for many of them. For example, one of the stages involving the suppression of Anatolia required one gen to hold the target city and others to attack the trigger yellow halo city. My Basil barely held out against the cav storm which had to be withstood. Plus, you need developed admirals or Cnut + Hardrada in the 2nd stage of the Battle at the Gates of Trajan because you MUST reach the target in time or your allies will lose both target cities. (Or use Aetius.) I'm not sure if ET would give us a good legion for newcomers for Stage 1 which required Basil to march to the Bulgarian King's city, hit it once and break through a horde. |

Gave up on clearing the quests without getting free Merc gens Do EW expect new players to clear this lmao. Every day I thank Alfred's easy af HL and good unit I'm at Bulgar-Burner Stage 1 (Harald) and I really believe ET returned to creating stages on the basis of War Drum spams. What did the trigger even do? Summon more enemies? Prompt the garrisons to charge? On the previous battle, stage 2, we had to face enemies with 1 full legion per city + 2-3 units spawning at where the first wave sprung up. These appear every turn for 16 turns. With few troops and incomplete legions, we have to precisely recreate sieges by ranged-only enemies. This is much more difficult because Varangian Guards have Charge and Detour. Plus, I believe that Hard mode may require us to hold more cities. Thankfully, Robert the Bruce saved me many times already, but even he couldn't take repeated attacks in Bulgar-Burner stage 1. |

Specifically to your question: BB1 Killing the yellow trigger legion removes the 90% dmg reduction buff on all legions in cities. Now you can attack the cities efficently. Yes they will charge you. But you should focus on taking the cities since that triggers morale drops in the cities district and once you take all cities triggers shattered morale for all enemy legions including the tanky elite ones. -> waiting and cleanup |

Here is a 12th century image of one of the battles of the first Millennium  Chronologically Polish Hussars, Swiss Halberdiers and Conquistadors are probably the latest units of the game. A special unit of Roland also has a 16th century appearance. |
