As the title said,what are your thought about it? They come too late to be useful in any near future, imo. There is a chance we get 10-20 fragments as a gift or reward here and there. But there is a great difference between levels of Janissaries and their apparent rivals - Varangians. And what is more important - it always will be. My only hope is that we can upgrade them up to levels 5-6 before Ottoman campaign is out, so that it could be possible to use them somehow. Otherwise they are just another "upgrade" project we can work on in several upcoming months, without any practical consequences. |

Unless they are more easy to farm than the Var they'd be good but too late game to decently use

They could also just ban certain units so we have to use others  like we couldn't use all generals in EW6:1914 history mode (or GoG3 campaign where it was not as strict but it was still advantageous to have generals that fit in the timeline and affiliation axis/allies) |
