There are currently two polls on the best ET game, but how about the worst one? To make it fair and interesting, I've excluded GOG2, GOG Classic and Pacific (not because they'd be bad, but they're old) and all games that don't have their own board.

Gah! Definitely 1804. If you want Napoleon, there is a game with better gameplay and note historical accuracy. If you want EW6 mechanics, 1914 is just generally better with it's time period, Challenge Conquests, Diplomacy, and quite franlky better campaigns, particularly Hard mode campaigns.

Well, if you don't include gog2, then I don't know...
I'd say wc3 because of its grinding system and also because you couldn't even upgrade the skills of generals from the military academies (I don't mean change, just upgrade to lvl 4). I enjoyed the game a lot when I played it years ago, though.
Also the map was quite bad (like in wc4), but it was bad also for the two EW6s. The only map I've found really satisfying so far is that of EW4.

All you have tp do is the campaigns to Pacific plus Challenges/Missions and a Conquest or two. Challenges up to level 7 are perfectly possible with just Messe, are short, quick, and easy, and Conquests can give up to 650 medals. |

Beating a conquest with Rank S in WC4 is essentially just building airports and paratrooping. That's it. And you don't have to complete Pacific to get Guderian. Just Europe. |

The only map I've found really satisfying so far is that of EW4. The new update has made it easier to grind medals. I'm quite surprised actually that EW7 is the worst. I mean, I found it fairly good. And WC3 in second position? It's my third favourite game after EW4 and GOG3. Worst...eh I'd say maybe GCR. I've tried it thrice and it just didn't appeal to me. I didn't had the will to play it. I quit 3 times after completing just the first missions. Maybe it was the lack of will, but I can't think of any other game. |

Many game modes, 31 gen slots, the gen system is great, alot of different units, monster, good grinding system, equipment. WC3, like WC4 has a very boring gen path, difficult medal grind and most of the generals are crap. Edit: Also, great mechanics. |

John Marston, honsetly, I understand you in a way. The first missions aren't the best but they never are in any ET game. Once you get into it, there's just so many things to do. Plus, you've got a customisable general that doesn't require ages of grinding to upgrade.

I was talking about the grinding system, not about how long it takes to grind medals. Having to leave your screen on is very bothersome (unless you play on a separate device). |

Yeah, they changed that in the update, so now you get a login reward of 30 medals a day, in addition to videos. |

Well, 1804 is much more beginner friendly than 1914, and although it’s more of a grind there are many possibilities. Also if it’s historical accuracy you’re looking for then WC3 is the worst easytech game. Also, EW4 isn’t accurate, I don’t remember princesses being masters of war. |
