Is his damage solid enough to replace Khan? Theoretically we can increase his ranged points relatively high with gems. |

hrabrimalitoster, why not Theodora? Theodora is anyway necessary to pair Justinian in Conquests.

Mathilda is the only f2p general who can reach lvl 4 calmness. She can hit almost 100 cav points. So, to me, she’s what I asked from the old Barbarossa.

Mathilda is the only f2p general who can reach lvl 4 calmness. She can hit almost 100 cav points. So, to me, she’s what I asked from the old Barbarossa. It is really a pity they changed an active skill of Barbarossa. Yes. They made a historically strong emperor, a support wannabe... Calmness is such a good skill in many situations. For example I used Theodora and Mathilda on Alfred’s siege ability in a hard chapter of Timur’s hero legend where you must destroy some thick fortifications. |

It is really a pity they changed an active skill of Barbarossa. Yes. They made a historically strong emperor, a support wannabe... Calmness is such a good skill in many situations. For example I used Theodora and Mathilda on Alfred’s siege ability in a hard chapter of Timur’s hero legend where you must destroy some thick fortifications. I always thought that a general with Calmness should be a front line general. With all due respect Matilda and Theodora are not. It's better to keep them inside cities boosting our income. A general with Calmness, on the other hand, is a part of attacking generals, constantly on a move. Barbarossa could be an excellent choice because he is a really powerful cavalry general even without his weapon. His current skill is OK, but nowhere near as useful as Calmness can be. Yet with such generals as Khan or Subutai, who have absolutely incredible active skills, Calmness is a key, even in hands of Matilda or Theodora. |

Her morale and title are not comparable with those of Barbarossa, however she can be a medium-high melee cav general even for we F2P. I wouldn’t leaver her in the city, since there are better options out there. I need only that juicy calmness she has in particular missions or campaigns where strangely you have no city, nor income. |

stoic, I don't have Subutai in my collection so I'm not sure, but if you can increase his Ranged Capability points over 100 I think he'll do the job.  This is my Genghis Khan, deals 660 dmg to regular units. In Territory mode, he needs 3x Calmness to destroy 3 enemy generals, even Generals with LV 15 units and the best equipment can't survive that.

andrei, I did not list Teodora because she is not Khan "eternal companion", I always use her in Territory, Expedition and Conquest, but in Campaign and HL I sometimes leave her out because we have a limited number of Generals to call or a small number of turns to complete the mission, but in most cases she is there.
