nexttimebro, yes, there is nothing specifuc in exploiting OP active skill. I know it works, I have Su Dingfang. It is the same with Khan's active + calmness for example. But unlike Khan, who is attacking gen relying on Counterattack is only good in Territory mode, which is very limited usability if speaking about game in general. I wouldn't build my team around such a tactic.

I realy dont see the point of this iap when Belisarius can perfectly do his job. And i bet Robert Bruce will be better then him. Belisarius gets huge counter attack damage after hitting someone and usually is dead next turn. Su doesn't get damage from counter attack what is very important against strong generals and next turn can deal even more damage by counter attack. If you upgrade him enough he is able to 1 hit kill every possible legion (2k+ damage). And never dies. |

I usually rush with Su killing Timur or any other strong archer then counter attack Richard and others, then next turn run away and wait for skill cd. He can kill several OP generals in 1 turn keeping full hp. With calmness you don't even need to wait, but I use calmness mostly on Khan.

And it works because the AI is stupid and attacks without any tactics and as a suicide? To me, that sounds like a rather weak general who exploits flaws in the game design and would turn to ashes very quickly in a real PvP fight. He doesn't seem like someone who would be too useful in Campaign and Conquest.

As for now I see that counterattacks from enemy mounted cavalry are a pain in Der strasse.
You can deal with them in many ways, for example using Cnut’s ability and a anti-arrows shield lvl3, or you can even put into the legion a hengdao for an additional anti-arrow legion effect.
Another cool way for outburst generals is to max Blue Vikings and add an hengdao in the legion or just ignore this last addition and proudly charge with Hardrada or Beowulf (or El CID, if you have plenty of resources to waste).

I tend to agree with opinion that his privileges are not as spectacular as it seemed before. We have plenty of free pass coins. And we can't even sell them  |

You never know 😏 , maybe one day "test accounts" will be too powerful to play against them. |

I think because of Su's active, his best role is an anti general. Ranged Su seems possible as an anti-archer general with Imperial Bow Cavalry...
