There's an ongoing flash sale and today's features Eagle Coins.
One can use medals to buy gems (in sets of 10) from the medal shop or buy Eagle Coins to spend on the coin shop.
At 30% off, lvl 1 red gems cost 840 Medals while at 10% off, 10 Eagle Coins cost 90 Medals.
In the Territory shop, a lvl 1 red gem costs 12 Eagle Coins while a lvl 2 purple or yellow gen costs 24 Eagle Coins.
One gem costs 84 Medals while one Eagle Coin costs 9 Medals when the Medal shop has a discount.
When spent on the Territory shop to buy one lvl 1 red gem, we'll spend 12 × 9 = 108 Medals instead. This means that buying lvl 1 gems for the sake of them at lvl 1 is a good deal.
If a lvl 2 red gem costs 24 Eagle Coins, we will spend 24 × 9 = 216 Medals. On the flip side, it would cost 3 × 84 = 252 Medals. This makes buying Eagle Coins a better deal in the long run if we intend to own gems at higher levels.
Does this mean that one should buy higher lvl gems straight from the Territory shop? Which option is better?
Do these prices apply to gems of other colours?
