Was thinking about the AI programming.. What if the AI was updated with some basic scripts to improve in both performance but also to promote national diversity? Russia already does favor Rocket Artillery heavily in 1943 and later. So if Germany were to respond more with strong tanks, instead of wasting money on something else. GB would be a bit more realistic with their behavior if they were favoring a more naval build in Europe. Their invasion of the mainland is a bit unhistorical to the degree of how much they does it. American and Canadian forces were the real oversea invaders involved in the battle of D-Day. Also if USA/Canada holds back their land forces from crossing the Atlantic until they reaches a number of units, their WC3 D-Day would be more effective than sending one by one all over to Europe then sputters.
Another funny example of WC3 behavior in particular to nations: Japan seems compulsive in invading China to the point of turning a blind eye to the Aus/US/Can creeping up and take over Tokyo and the rest of their homeland. It would made more sense to have some compulsion to protect their homeland and force high causalities if USA wanted to invade Japan. It's what brought the USA to the decision to drop nukes on Japan in 1945.

For FDR, believe me, I agree about his achievements. It's just interesting to consider 'what if'... like What if FDR actually did prepared Truman? Would have it ended the war eariler and with lesser causalities? Anyway, let me know what you think of the AI scripting? Think it would made more of a difference even if the units were exactly the same in stats for every nation?

I do agree that the AI is rather stupid. Anyone notice that when you attack Russia with the Japanese, in 1943, they tend to leave Moscow (MOSCOW) and Stalingrad wide open for attack? Wasn't Stalingrad a, yah know, MAJOR THING IN WWII.

1: The AI need to have a bit of self awareness. "Oh, my main city is under attack? Maybe I should go defend it!" 2: The AI need to follow history a bit better. This one shouldn't need explaining:P 3: AI shouldn't be as docile when their on your team! By the gods, is it annoying when Britain won't do anything when they clearly hold an advantage> 4: The idea of balancing is not dead, friends. I understand why your allies should have a bit of a hindrance (Because you, the player, are on their side), but how does Manstein, by himself, manage to kill off both Russia and China? Just my four main complaints:P There are many more minor ones.

Yep. Can relate to both of those, as well...Especially RB6. The universe just won't let these things happen, for one reason or another.

Agree. Many great Cold War and WW2 generals are missing (for example, General Vo Nguyen Giap, expert in guerrilla; or Hermann Balck, one of the greatest German battlefield commander people don't usually hear of) Fact about Balck: www.historynet.com/the-greatest-german-general-no-one-ever-heard-of.htmYeah General Vo Nguyen Giap was the Napoleon of North Vietnam, but sadly Easytech did not include Vietnam in 1960

Well, I really felt like to see Vietnam in '60. Having Thailand get all those white lands left me unease.

Budyonny. He was one of the first Marshalls of the Soviet Union, yet somehow he is made into the worst generals in the game. It's either because he was useless in WWII, or because he was a cavalry general that detested Tanks (probably why he has that one star in movement?)

I think we all know the reason why his stats are so bad.
