nikomachosI think the feeling that this new line-up was a bit fragile is because battle conditions in a Territory mode are rather peculiar. AI drives his legions like a herd of sheep, they all packed together. So, if you attack approaching opponents then counterattacks are imminent.

today both templars and chinese jet black cav are on sale. question to advanced players who have jet black charge cav. Are you using them in all kinds of legion setups for the chance to move and attack twice or only for cav gens? for example with outburst you could almost guarantee hadrada el cid or beowolf to move 2 fields and attack twice with a setup of: jetblack,2 varangian any of you currently using this? please come back to me on success and efficency.  I'm late for the party, but I use JBCC with templars on Richard and that's a very successful mix. On other legions I prefer black guards instead of them due to more survivability, but both are fine of you ask me |

So, if you attack approaching opponents then counterattacks are imminent. yes, you are definitely right. differing on terrain and enemy speed they are sometimes very clumped or less so. i rly hate when i position myself against enemy richard and he goes north alone or almost alone and then moves back in the big group aaaarrgh  the attack again effect should help me minimize the amount of attacks i have to tank on enemies turn, by crippling or removing the big threats. which overall was still successfull but there was just no avoiding some without a full retreat and restarted battle. men die in war. |

Is Jetblack even necessary when you have max Templars. I one shot everything as is with Templars.

Also F2P players can buy Jets, but they can't upgrade them, IMO if you can't upgrade unit, you don't need it. Even Templars can be upgrade from territory shop and mercenaries orders, Jets can't. |

Provided you can afford it... Roma locuta est, causa finita est. The second best thing is to have one of those units at max possible level. Provided you can afford it... But if you cannot afford it, you start a thread like this to discuss different possibilities |

If you can't upgrade it to at least level 10-12, ignore the unit. i am f2p and i have them at 7 currently and can push to 12 right now with souls. could push to 15 if i dismantle everything else. yes i would be utterly spent in ressources after that. but every f2p can push 1 elite unit right to max without trouble if he was a good hoarder. also since the testing in this thread was with 7 if you read it you already know how i think about lvl 7. i will be waiting if the bext update is gamebreaking again. and not spend my souls until then. |

Jets or Templars? I can buy Jet's and upgrade them at lvl 6 max, but after that I can't upgrade them. Of course all active players waiting update and don't spend resources now. 🙂 PS. My main mission for 2-3 months are level up conquistadors at lvl 12 only with raid, and other main T5-6 unit at lvl 6 all, at lvl 12 main usage like Varangians, all European knight orders, Noble and Boyars, Mamluks, IBC, Mongolian Riders. I'm not need all fantastic T6 Chinese (even not Chinese) units in this game, this is ET problem with logical, but I don't dismantle this fragment yet, maybe later. |
