Working on my way with Thailand 1939. Since Thailand always get toasted at early game before they even join the war, so I give Thailand a go . And ........

Brisbane is almost always the reason why I don't manage to finish a conquest in less than 65 turns =/ Ps: Can what 1-start country is great for 65 turns or less in 1939? (Preferably allies)

(Preferably allies) 1939 is more friendly to Axis even with the infamous Brisbane. I suggest Hungary 1939 as 1 star just for the medals (and not to mention 2k industry given as well). I don't really understand why you wanted to finish under 65 turns with a single star country. Once you've achieved it with a 3 star (Japan for Axis, Russia for allies - good recommendations), you got all of the wonders given for the under 65 turn thing. It doesn't matter if you achieved it again, because the wonders are already awarded to you. The resources like Industry, Energy, and Atom (and one-time medal award per star tier) is given to you when you achieve a win regardless of how many turns it takes long as it's under 300 turns.

Japan is the best for handling Brisbane just bring Yamamoto down to wreck Blamey.

Actually Brisbane 1939 is the most troublesome, because it's the only year with Blamey+FieldArty there. And Thailand stronk! (see how the country survives all those conflicts as a minor country).

Whenever I play 1939 I just send an army to quickly get rid of Brisbane while my main troops are somewhere else. That army is normally carriers recruited in the Pacific

That army is normally carriers recruited in the Pacific That would be annoyingly ineffective considering the anti-air defenses there in Brisbane. A whole pack of carriers would be somewhat effective but they cost 550 gold each, so it's best in mid-game when you already have a decent chunk of the world on your hands. But then... a pack of carriers is quite helpful in dominating the Pacific. ANYTHING in the waters would just get blown out.

I hate that you can't paradrop into Brisbane, and its only one tile aveible that can attack the city, its the worst thing it slows everyone down!

One of the III port is Hawaii, which is pretty close to Australia, a carrier will still need 2-3 moves to get in range, though.

It is ineffective if you do it incorrectely. The plan isn't to kill Blamey, it's to weaken him as much as possible until your actual troops come in. I also build fortifications next to him. And there's more than enough flight carriers to recruit from the US Pacific and what's left of what you used to conquer it.
