Poland is actually the only conquest I tried hegemony. It took 26 turns. It seems You are doing quite good. It is anyway very straightforward conquest.

I only played with Serbia (of course), the only thing that bothers me is the large number of countries because there is a long wait between turns. This Conquest is played by taking out your strongest generals as fast as you can and conquering everything around you. When you conquer 30-40 cities then diplomacy comes into play.

This way You simply will spend minimum time to advance. The more generals having such an advatage You have - the faster Your conquest. And of course plan Your advance. I see You have several inactive generals near Danes. Either don't sent so many to this front or send them back to fight other battles afterwards.

Unfortunately, our common with andrei ancestors are unavailable for playing and only appear in CoI conquest as a "special event" It is a bit disappointing 😠

I played two conquests. One the Idrisid Dynasty and the other the Danes. All of them full map conquest.

stoic At least you have some playable generals from your history, I'm still waiting with hope for them to make Stefan Uros IV Dusan, known as Dusan the Mighty. In the Rise of the Ottomans campaign, I think they would have to create mission "Battle of Kosovo", where Sultan Murad died, or at least the disaster on the Maritsa River. Those two battles were crucial for the expansion of the Turks into Europe.

i did not read the threads bc i like to be blindsided by events so kingdom of leon took me 40+ turns bc i was so arrogant to attack the vatican so i could collect a title everybody turned against me and cost me like a million turns. but great fun to be wrecked in first playtrough poland i finished in 25 turns i rly slowed down after reaching italy, iberia and balkans. stupid mountains did not move out my way. only these 2 i played for now.

You have no choice but to attack Papal states if you want to restore Roman Empire. I did it as Byzantine Empire and since she has, let's put it mildly , more resources than Leon the ultimate victory was more simple. I am happy it is behind me though. If 3/4 of participants are against you it reminds me of painful EW6 1914 challenge conquests when you have to cross Atlantic playing as Serbia, because all your allies are defeated there and your remaining allies don't plan to cross either I hope they will make challenge conquests for EW7 one day

The long wait time in between turns. Somehow made the game last meaningless amount of time longer. Make a 2 hour conquest last 5

Befriending the Papal States (or more specifically, the Vatican) is a pointless money sink early on, IMO. ~600 money and 300 iron per agreement, if I'm not wrong, for a state that doesn't even go to war itself. I thought good relations with the Pope would unlock something.
