I deleted my account, and my IAPs are gone. Time to do this the old-fashioned way! (For the 4th time.) so idk anything about iaps, but those might get restored via button right? but have fun on your f2p run  ps. i never meant for you to loose those if your post was a complaint. Yeah IAPs do get restored by the buttons. |

they removed the daily login medals! now grinding for medals is way harder f2p... thankfully I completed the game ages ago, but this sets back my goal to collect all gens by a few years... They haven't removed it but rather moved in to another place. Here we get out daily rewards now  It is the same pattern as in EW7, you can't get your daily rewards without seeing purchase proposals at the same time. I think someone in ET bought recently a marketing guide for dummies |

I think someone in ET bought recently a marketing guide for dummies phew thankfully its still there. and yea HAHA though without a motivation to buy those IAPs (ok I dont quite like what they did with wc4 - by releasing a new gamemode that can only be completed via the IAP they release; i believe as long as you grind or try you should be able to complete the game the good ol f2p way) without new game modes itll still be a marketing flop regardless... |

I think the only one thing that can revive the interest of players is the release of hard mode campaigns. It is difficult to say whether they are planning to do this or not. I think a close substitute would already be the elite mode, so im not sure if they are continuing in a similar path with the hard mode campaigns. There is definitely room for improvement with the AI mechanics for conquest mode (currently the AI just leaves their cities open so it becomes too easy to win with a paratrooper method), and yes it would be best if they just added more Army Group + Conquest modes! Army Group is missing its 1944-45 modes, and conquest is missing just about everything else (D-day, more scope for naval engagements including the Atlantic, the African theatre). Sincerely hope for a Southeast Asia + maybe India Conquest / Army group too! (ofc that shld not include chinese territory as per usual practice) |

Really, the only arrangement that the AI needs in conquest is with Romel in Africa and perhaps the AI's obsession with making a strange landing from Spain to France, I say in GOG 1, Spain was one of the few allies that gave the fight, it was slow but reliable for a change, and here because of that strange behavior spain is now one of the most useless factions, and the most useless is romel, I say that in real life romel was a bit special, but why the hell does he give up attacking greece and allowing himself to be annihilated in egypt, it's even a meme as the african italian is by far the best ally there is and romel is worth nothing

The former maybe being that the update isnt fully rolled out in some regions, and the latter being that the game can determine whether you've completed it (e.g. all achievements unlocked, all scenarios and elite mode missions done, or a certain quota of generals obtained) before they stop granting you daily medal rewards |

Personally Im not geting ananything at all due Im not connecting to the google play server. I cant even see the new generals.
I think my android version is too old. I had several problems with other apps as well.

Weidling, incidentally, is kind of meh. Sure, he's good, but not clearly better than MacArthur, let alone Eisenhower. Great for city defense, but do you really need an OP infantry general for city defense? Plus, even the best infantry generals get murdered by HT generals. I'd get him if he was F2P, but not worth your money. |

I'd get him if he was F2P, but not worth your money. its both gens just click carefully left or right on their pictures. i noticed only thanks to your post. so i can view both now lol. yeah none of these gens are worth the money xD spaatz is airforce gen and has a skill that reduces the cost of airattack by 50% and also ignores anti air SF. so the gameplay would be: deploy spaatz. deploy air aura gen next to him. scout. kill every enemy general. parashoot into target city. done. not much gameplay left. |

Usually, I need to hold cities quite often from enemy spams but these spams mainly comprise special unit infantries and artillery units, rarely tanks. In the event that heavy artillery, anti-infantry infantry or armoured units of any calibre do appear, I will target them first with my other units/gens/airforce to get them down to half health. I'd still need a healthy infantry general to hold the besieged city, and I do not necessarily want to waste my main inf damage dealers' health or turns that being said, he's an IAP so his practical value is pretty questionable (apart from just the fun of trying him out, or completing your german general set) spaatz is, I agree, pretty op, but nothing beats the pair of yamamoto dowding |
