With Italy bowing out of the international situation, I reposition the troops originally guarding their border. Army Groups Friedrich Julius and Kaufmann are sent to the Albanian border (873,376 troops) along with Panzer armies I-III (1,725 panzers) and Artillery battery 5 (2,000 Guns). This movement will take 3 posts (meta information for John Marston , usually troop movements for that distance wouldn't be that fast, but I invested in a major railway system throughout my country. It's not an exact science with the distance, just do what you think is right) Army Group Emil is moved to the Habsburg line (273,376 troops) along with artillery battery 1 (2,000 guns) This action takes 2 posts The newly formed VIII Panzer army, along with the newly formed "a" AA battery (575 panzers and 500 AA pieces respectively) Move to the Habsburg line as well. This also take two posts. The armies along the Habsburg line (Ärger-Dora &Ida, 1,800,000 troops) begin the construction of a heavy fort along the line. This will take one page to complete, and allows attack up to regular +4 victory without losing entrenchment. As a reminder, I have 2,300 Panzers stationed on the border, as well as 6,000 guns. Air support consists of 2,080 fighters and 1,110 bombers. The factory that researched heavy Forts is now set to research their defense, which will add a .5 defense bonus. This will take 7 pages I also move my fleet from the North sea to the Adriatic sea. This will take 17 posts uninterrupted. Everything else is reasonable, but a heavy defence line in a page?! I was thinking with how many troops I have stationed along the line it would be reasonable (I mean a full page btw, not the end of this one) what would you suggest instead?

First of all, it's not realistic. The Stalin Line and the Maginot Line took years to build, and the former wasn't even effective. Secondly, the RP will be ruined if building a heavy defensive line in a page is possiblepage. Pair that with terrain and attacking will be impossible. This was the problem in the 1942 RP, and, sorry if I sound harsh, I simply don't want it here.

The 9th, 11th, and 14th Army from the Italian border, the 8th Army from the Spanish border, the 15th Army from Corsica, the 27th and 30th Armies from Africa, 3 Artillery Brigades (1000 guns) and 3 Armoured Divisions (including a newly produced one, 500 tanks each) are moved to the Maginot Line. Additionally 120,000 reserves in Paris are used to reinforce the 30th Army (previously 80,000) to full strength and to form the 22nd Army again, which is also moved to the Maginot Line. This brings the total strength to 1,700,000 infantry, 5,500 tanks and 5000 guns. Additionally, the 17th, 19th and 20th Armies from Istanbul and the 1st and 2nd Artillery Brigades from Syria are shipped to Albania. The forces in Albania seek for defensive positions in the mountains. The Maginot Line will be provided with the air support of 1000 bombers and 2000 fighters. 300 fighters and 200 bombers fly to Tirana.

The occupation of Yugoslavia is unjustified and a blatant violation of international law. Moreover, German ships have no right to disturb the peaceful situation in the Mediterranean Sea. The whole French Navy moves to the Strait of Gibraltar they will not attack unless attacked, but they will not let the Imperial Navy pass. Moreover, 300 bombers will fly to Tangier.

Only for John Marston Well, it is not a surprise that such a long discussion by two totalitarians bears fruit. However, my fronts are very well defended, why should I withdraw? So that you can invade Portugal? The amount of troops you have deployed is not too large as of now, but do not bring any more forces to our borders. Moreover, I thank you for the information on the upcoming attack. If you really want an alliance, you should not talk about this conversation, but rather (which you here have done) create fake tension between us publicly. Also, if you are willing to join in the war against Austria-Hungary, I will let the Spanish troops from French land. Only for Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov No sire, I can assure you that I have no intentions of invading Portugal. I don't really know how troops you had. I was just warning you.
Regarding which side I will be in, I think I might play as a spy in their camp, if you like. I'm still pretty much weak and have just 3 factories. Before that, I just want you to know that I WILL NOT THREATEN YOU IN ANY WAY and I want you to assure me the same. I definitely will work on faking the tensions. Only for John MarstonOk good, you can be assured that I have no intentions of invasion and even if I had, I couldn't cross the Pyrenes with such a little number of troops. War with Austria-Hungary seems inevitable, but without other countries intervening I can't see that either would be able to make a breakthrough. Do you know if, when and where USSR is going to attack?

Eugene V. Debs only Slight change in naval plan: move your fleet stationed in Odessa to the Gibraltar strait. Act as if you are reinforcing the French. Once my navy is in position, we can encircle the French vessels and wipe out their African fleet.
With my defensive line taking longer to build the strategy for the army has also changed. After the initial attack on the French fleet, I need you to move your forces through my country to the Benealux countries (your units stationed on the border will take 7 turns to get there). I need you to push through said countries while I keep the Frencg occupied on the Habsburg line. Focus as little on their military as possible, we wish to do minimum harm to the benelux.
What do you think of these two changes?
Sincerely, Sir Kent, King of Austria-Hungary

Sincerely, Sir Kent, King of Austria-Hungary Only for Warlord247I'll attack via Belgium then, if that's okay with you too. Belgium has 750,000 soldiers, but they'll still need to keep some of them in the Dutch and French borders, and with the help of my numeriously advantaged tanks and guns, I can push through the rest of their forces in a fast way. The French fortifications in the Belgium border are weaker than the rest, so it'll have either a small defensive advantage, or none at all, I'd predict.
As for the naval plan, I agree with the changes. The only thing is (it's about naval warfare in general), we don't currently have a damage calculation system for naval battles.

So I don't even know what my navy is lmao. I'll tag kilmomt in the Future of Rp thread to figure it out Only for Warlord247Well, the only country with a navy that you've merged with so far is Germany. So, you only have the German navy (copied from the first post in the thread: 155 submarines, 34 destroyers, 8 cruisers, 3 battleshisps). Or I'm not sure if I understood what you mean correctly.
Edit: Spain has agreed to an alliance under these terms:
Comrade, for joining against the French, I put forward these conditions -
1. The Communists shall safeguard my independence in case France occupies Spain. 2. After the war, the number of factories under Spanish control must be equal to Germany or 2 less than USSR - whichever is less. 3. Morocco shall be under Spanish control.
This is all I ask, comrade. Though not a compulsion, I do expect you to send aid in form of tanks and guns, (Of course under your command) for strategic reasons. And one more thing comrade, if you are planning to attack after our negotiations end, I request you to please wait until I at least build some rudimentary fortifications.
Both the first and the third terms are okay with me, though the second is a bit hard. We'd need to give all the factories of France to them, but as France is to become communist after the war, this condratics with our plans. I'd say we negotiate it, and compensate with more territory in Africa with the former French colonies.
Sending tanks and guns etc. is suspicious, so I'll refrain from doing so. They don't accept that the French will be weak as they'll be fighting with both you and me. This is highly suspicious, but if they're honest, then they will see that the French will be weaker when the time comes.
Plus, they are still talking with the French. And they requested us to wait. For what, for the French to prepare againat us? This is really starting to get very suspicious, don't you think? Perhaps they're acting like a mole on our side for France. I highly advise you to refrain from sharing information with Spain. Even better, we can give false information about our plans to France via Spain.
So, what do you say, comrade?

Only for Eugene V. Debs Comrade, you do realise that you are the strongest country in the world. Every decision you make will affect millions of people now and maybe even 10 decades later. We have just fought and won a devastating civil war, thanks to your help comrade. My people want peace. I am doomed no matter which side I pick. And war is inevitable. All I want to make sure is that my country and my people are safe. I hope you understand why I can't join your alliance comrade.
Wishing Luck, Fellow comrade John Marston. Only for John Marston I see, comrade. But then, what will your position in this conflict be? Surely you don't think that those capitalists shall allow you to freely exist, unless you make some type of compromise. I don't trust the French to make a fair deal with you, although I trust you.
Also, both Austria-Hungary and I have over 6 million soldiers in total. This is more than France. And most of the French troops will be away from your border, as they'll be fighting with us. And you have 600,000 soldiers, this isn't something to underestimate. You don't really have a weakness, plus it'd be even better when you have an ally (which would be me in this case, as well as Austria-Hungary). And on the contrary, you are quite powerful on your own right too. Therefore, I must ask you to reconsider one more time, if you don't mind.
But if it is indeed your final decision for now, then I will respect it, of course, comrade. Only for Eugene V. DebsComrade, I am surrounded by France on 3 sides. If I attack him, he will counter through Portugal, Gibraltar and France. He has 'I don't know but probably a lot' of factories, I have 3. France has been making guns and tanks since the very beginning. I am doing it from like page 45. I will never catch up with him, neither with you all. If that is not a sign of weakness, I don't know what is.
But Comrade, for joining against the French, I put forward these conditions -
1. The Communists shall safeguard my independence in case France occupies Spain. 2. After the war, the number of factories under Spanish control must be equal to Germany or 2 less than USSR - whichever is less. 3. Morocco shall be under Spanish control.

Wishing Luck, fellow Comrade John Marston.
