John Marston only After deliberation with the Premiere, we have revoked our guarantees to Morrocco and French factories. We will still guarantee you country in the case of occupation, however we can not in good faith provide you with spoils of war if you will not participate in the war yourself.
This is not meant to be a burning of diplomatic ties by any means. As stated before, we still guarantee your independence, over the entirety of Spain. I hope the diplomatic channel will stay open.
Sincerely, Sir Kent, King of Austria-Hungary Only for Warlord247 Your Majesty, I am full commited to your alliance. In order to show my loyalty, I invite your troops to the city of Barcelona. It is well fortified and my navy is currently protecting it. It's just that, I'm a little bit nervous because I still am surrounded by 3 sides and having Communist troops on my soil, as I said, would make me more comfortable.
My main issue is that I fear that what if...this gamble fails? I have only one chance and I cannot afford to botch it. Plus, I think that our long negotiations would have made the French suspicious by now and I don't think they would like to evacuate. Is the front currently at war? John Marston only Me sending any forces to your country at the moment would be an immediate give away of our alliance. While we have maintained communication, so have you and the French, so such suspicion should not be upon us.
The front is not at war but it will be. That is why I need you as the blockade. A sizeable number of French forces are stationed in Albania, and ensuring none escape would deal a tremendous blow to the French.
After that I can freely send forces to your aid. The amount I'd be able to send would overwhelm the French forces, especially since they'd be fighting two fronts.
Albania is the key to waging a successful campaign. And your navy is the key to Albania's success.
In the unlikely event your navy is destroyed I pledge to replace it, and to provide for any family which loses a son or father on those ships.

Alright bois, just finished my last exam, what did I miss? Welcome back! Aside from Austria-Hungary's attack on France and the floods of ongoing private talks between all sides, nothing noteworthy has happened, or haven't been publicly announced at least.

Only for Darth NihilusGreetings my dear Polish friend,
It's been a while since we've last spoken. Therefore, I wonder whether you consider us still allied, or you've changed your mind. With the possible war between France and Austria-Hungary with the rising tension, and Italy's withdrawal from the international events, it seems like things are to change soon. Consequently, I see it necessary for us to determine the future of our alliance and the relationship of our countries. I personally prefer maintaining our good relations.
I also wonder your honest opinion about the possibility of war between France and Austria-Hungary. Because the changing world order will naturally affect your nation too. Which also makes it inevitable for you to join in this event in one way or another.
So, what do you say?

While there has been seemingly no reason, you, Austria-Hungary, have deployed a huge army on your border with the French. I wonder what the cause of this may be, if not an upcoming and unjustified attack? At least this is how we see it, as the Soviet Union.

Only for Warlord247For our naval plan to work, I shouldn't publicly support you. On the contrary, publicly "condemning" you will help me look like I'm not allied with you, so I'll not be suspected when the naval plan starts. I'm still waiting for France's reply, so I couldn't start yet.

Ok everyone, I've been away for a day or so, and there's a lot of things to answer and react to. I'll start right away, but I'll take my time.

Okay Warlord247 first (out of role things) 1. The defensive line. Personally, I think even 7 pages is a bit too fast (btw how much do you think the Maginot Line should give), and I think I would have the same opinion as a third party and an RP Officer. However, I am certainly biassed as one who is directly affected by this, so I think a third party opinion is best here. Darth Nihilus has talked about defence lines, what do you think? Eugene V. Debs, as the only third party RP Officer, has the final say here. 2. Here's a real time map with all Armies with names and the amount of troops they have. (The Turkish front is a bit outdated). 3. I'll answer the gameplay questions in the other thread. Anything else?

Also the German's already had a defensive line under construction, so I think it's more fair. Under any other circumstances let's say 15 pages? Also, the map didn't send

So, what do you say? Only for Eugene V. Debs Good day, and I hope that circumstances find you well. We owe a large part of the restoration of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to you, and as a result we will not easily betray our neighbour, as long as our interests remain common.
France and Austria-Hungary have long remained adversaries, and I believe that tensions are high, but the outbreak of war still lacks a casus belli. I doubt that I will directly interfere with the war if it begins, but I may offer air and logistic support.

Only for Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov Greetings my dear French friend, As you know as well, a lot of things has happened since we've last spoken, and therefore I believe we need to discuss the recent events. But first, I would like to apologise for our message where we unjustly criticised your talks with Italy. Our anti-facist stance had gotten over our commen sense, and I apologise for it. But I believe that our relationship is stronger than this, and I'm willing to keep it strong. If we can easily be divided by this, how can we imagine to stand against totalitarian dictatorships and empires? I hope we can leave that accident behind, for it does not do well to dwell on past, whilst the the now and here does not wait for anyone. Since the Italy event, we've become disconnected, despite not officialy breaking our alliance, we never spoke. Therefore, I had to continue my friendly relationship with Austria-Hungary, inviting Poland too. As we are all neighbours in Eastern Europe, our partnership was natural, just like you talked with Italy against the threat of Austria-Hungary at the time. Plus, Austria-Hungary has declared its pro-communist stance, so this made our relationship even better. And they also gifted Poland Königsberg, which made their relationship better too. So all three of us become friendly in the end. However, then Austria-Hungary started making plans to attack you and fascist Italy. If you wonder why I didn't intervene, because I needed to preserve my relationship with Austria to gain time to prepare for a world war. After that, as Italy is no longer a member of the international community, Austria-Hungary has now attacked you, but I refuse to attack you. Because I am still techinicallly allied with you, and I don't have a reason for hostility with you anyway. And I want to keep good relations, if we agree to reconcile between our nations now. Neither you nor Austria can win the war, as your armies are of near equal strength, so are your naval forces. Even if you won, it would be at a devastating cost that it wouldn't worth it. But I can change the course of this war, with my huge army and navy. Austria-Hungary can't stand against you and me when we unite our forces. No totalitarian regime has managed to defeat us so far, and nor will they from now on. Spain seems mostly neutral and Poland's current stance is unknown (they're not strong enough to win the war anyway), so you need one more beside your side to defeat Austria-Hungary. Poland may return to Austria-Hungary's side, who knows. This is why I want to talk with you. I'm willing to start talking about continuing our good relationship. Despite everything, we have never become enemies so far. Because the relationship between our nations is stronger than anything else. And I wish to continue this. Two is stronger than one, and power comes from unity, doesn't it? Also, even if we don't come to an agreement at the end of this talk, I want to solve the uncertainty in our nations' relationship in a honourable way and part our ways, although I prefer keep going together. Either way, I want for us to determine this like gentlemen. A non-roleplay personal note: Also, I've personally always hated betrayals since I first started RPing, so I want to avoid it at all costs, even if we really part our ways in this alliance. I know things like betrayals happens sometimes, and this is only natural and normal as long as the rules allow it, though at least I try to avoid it myself. By the way, even if we don't come to be on the same side on the upcoming war, it will be no problem for me. We've been RPing together since the TW7 RP, and I've always enjoyed both fighting side by side with you and against you since those times; and I think that you're a formidable ally and a powerful enemy, so I enjoy playing with you both way. And being on Austria's side would be okay for me too, as I've wanted to fight side by side with Warlord in a RP for a while too, so it won't be a problem for me no matter what happens. I see you all as my children () my friends anyway, so I'll be happy either way. So, in short, no matter which side we both come to be on the upcoming war, may the force always be with you. Only for Eugene V. DebsOf a Fascist, a Bolshevik, and a Democrat it is the latter who is unclouded by power, paranoia, and lust for power. Sometimes compromises with former enemies have to be made to counter bigger threats. However, against you, I did not make a single hostile act, I only answered silence with silence. We are not hostile toward the Soviet Union for your mistake, although we surely are upset by you betraying your people, your ideology, and the whole world for siding with fascists, not to counter a threat, but to create one. More importantly however, I am no fool. Why would I turn down the assistance of the greatest army in the world in this stalemate situation. However, I can not make concessions, I can not promise you countries to invade. All I can promise is that you will not regret helping democracy and freedom prevail over Austria-Hungary. Out of role: We two have been probably the only two consistently participating in RPs since TW7, if experience has taught anything, you will regret going against me As to betrayals, I've also (as you know) always been against betrayals. However, in this RP I have sort of enjoyed the diplomatic wrestling over allies and the constant uncertainty.

However, I had thought that the Maginot Line would have been like +3 or so. You see now why I thought +0.5 in a page was fast? Also, I'm an idiot: www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1afEa8VJeLeJ-Ev67mBlIBCzCwtdy1mw&usp=sharing

However, in this RP I have sort of enjoyed the diplomatic wrestling over allies and the constant uncertainty. Only for Kliment Jefremovitš VorošilovFascists? Who are the fascists? You were the one talking with the Fascist Italy. I only cooperated with Austria-Hungary, an empire. These two are very different things, fascism being the worst. Which with right am I being accused of betraying, while you yourself cooperated with the fascist Italy when you had to (I don't accuse you, just state the obvious)? I had to do the same too with the same logic, if you expect me to understand you, the do the same to my situation. I have already apologised for my own accusing of you, but you don't accept that I took the same measure as you by being friendly with Austria-Hungary? If this is betrayal, then yours is betrayal too. But I don't think you betrayed, you just took a measure against me thinking that I was betraying. And I did the exact same. All because of miscommunication. Either stop calling this a betrayal, or accept that you did the same too. Out of role: You're right, probably we're the oldest consistent players here. As a sidenote, I actually first joined in the 1848 Revolutions RP (in the middle of it though, not the beginning), so that was my first RP. I guess this makes me even older than you lol. The last time we directly (excluding only being on enemy sides) fought against each other was Diplomatic War 2 and you seriously were defeating me there. Wish that RP didn't have to end so that we could continue, and then perhaps you could have seen that these words you say now shall bring you doom in this RP, Uncle Klim Jeff (whoops, perhaps I shouldn't have used this ). Or maybe I should count myself lucky that it have to be ended, so I didn't have to see myself being defeated. Yes, it's certainly fun to play with the threat of betrayal every minute too, I must concede this. But still, I prefer not to enter my new age with greying hair. I can gladly trade the extra fun with the guarantee of no extra stress of betrayal.
