I can't defeat all enemyes in this level , and i think that there is many other people who is blocked at this level.

I can't defeat all enemyes in this level , and i think that there is many other people who is blocked at this level. Blocked on hard in this level. I plan to level up Robert the Bruce to aid in dealing with the massive cavalry spam. |

Wait one turn when the Genoese archers will approach, then defeat them with cavalry, then wait for French cavalry to come. Place your archers in the forest for counter attacks, as the enemy cavalry would not be so fast; while yout cavalry should attack the enemy’s general. Once he is dead, his troops sttart to flee and lose morale & hp. Defeat them one by one with these defensive tactics and then attack the last enemy general - John the Blind
For archers’ generals I used Subutai, El Cid, Timur, Giovanni & Nur Din
Cavalry is good with Alfred, Nevskiy & Roland

Yeah same here. I think my units are too weak. Level 6-10 units with sort of maxed f2p gens (half with lvl10 unique weapon, gems, etc). Using tents and cheval de frise with the strategy to sort of play with the forest advantage I still have 2 enemy gens remaining when I die.
Or I would need to spam war drums, yawn.
I think I am reaching a f2p plateau generally with the game. Farming is very slow and I can tell my units are not strong enough, whether for campaign or hero legends, so I do not gain significant resources any more.
Also, conquest is soooo boring, especially compared with ew6, which I personally enjoyed a lot. Shame.

all true i attempted it a couple of times also trying out different spawn gen but to no avail. i dont see any other way than spam drums 10-14 or sth bc i stopped trying. used the war drum cloud safe for the first time. stupid mission.
enemy moral drop would need to be more significant to matter. the enemy gens depending on ai sometimes are litterally last of the horde...what use them retreating once i get to them if i had to kill 10 units to get to him.
frustrating level, and the weird thing is it is normal mode when all i play normal for usually is to get to hardmode = "realmode"

key to win: wardrums, no other way.
killing the enemy general drops a morale, but not that game changing.
it is really a battle against the english which they surprisingly won.

Yeah very much like that. 100% agree moral drop needs to be more acute, it should drop straight away where they start bleeding DMG. And yeah these enemy gens should be more suicidal, like the friendly ones in the ‘save the gen’ missions I have plenty of war drums but I am thinking if I use a bunch of them now it can only mean I will need more later… so kinda pointless I mean every time I tried I can handle the first waves, but the morale drops are not strong enough (I was expecting morale to completely drop to 0) and the enemy yellow targets always hide themselves amongst cavalry. To make matters worse once morale of French cavalry drops ... they don't retreat. Instead the cavalry just piles on, barely noticeable who belonged to who. It was not that hard on normal since I had level 11 longbowmen by hard is just yikes. |

Welp never mind I just did it. Had to use a strategy where I dumped all my cavalry gems onto Matilda of Boulogne, giving her the highest cavalry stat I have seen on my own team.

Had to use a strategy where I dumped all my cavalry gems onto Matilda of Boulogne, giving her the highest cavalry stat I have seen on my own team. and can you explain how she was the key? bc this comes as a surpise. sidenote for those still in need of new ideas... i saw a video on the et fb group site where they utilzed robert de bruces active skill and also baldwins. bruce oneshotted all the genoese crossbowmen and gets 1 attack point. you do this 3 times then swap him ahead repeat as to clear 80% of the crossbowmen. which might make the cav waves after a little easier |

I m still not passing it in hard level with both totally op lol I think if you want an easier strategy you should use Robert the Bruce with a Jet Black Cavalry. This way you can strike the enemy cavalry multiple times while also sort of evading the full wrath of charge. |
