Hey guys,
its my first post here and unfortunately it is a really unpleasant topic.
I just autoplayed spain over night. It all went fine. then i woke up (in the middel of the night) and went to HQ to get my stuff from the wonders.
Suddenly my game froze and i thought "well, then i'll get the missions later on" an went to sleep an other couple of hours.
In the morning i started WC3 and all progress was lost. i'm back at level 1 without generals, wonders and missions.
This is horrible, i had saved so long for guderian and City of cuzok (finally got them yesterday -.- )
I never used google play to play the game. Is there any way to get my stuff back?
I don't think i would start from scratch...this was soo much time.
Any Ideas?
I play on my Xperia Z1 compact.

Yes there is one hard way. Restart and retry to gain stuff back.

Try getting Titanium Backup next time so that doesn't happen again. And sadly you have to start from the beginning again

Try getting Titanium Backup next time so that doesn't happen again. And sadly you have to start from the beginning again That one would be the option to go with. Even the Google play doesn't restore your progress, but it would restore your purchases in WC3. |

That's a surprise. If only one of those two can do that, you would have thought it would be the later version that has fleshed it out better. At least in WC3, we have the skip button.

Thx That happen when my phone froze in 1939 axix conquest for Hungarian or Romani and it froze when I invaded Africa. Make sure your phone is not hot to lower the change of it freezing |

Root +undeleter or any other software with the same effect(for android there are only 5apps that does that] |

I had this happen once. I am trying to find the gamefile to backup and save but cant find. Anyone know the filepath on android. Easytech gave me a path but the folder doesnt seem to exist.

Seems like it is located in /data folder, which can not be accessed without rooting device, which can cause to loose your data from phone. Possibly installing game on SD card can help if you just read SD card from your PC with the help of card reader.

Option to lose all progress makes me feel not so good. For now what I have found: files are located in directory /data/data/com.easytech.wc3/campaign.sav and headquarter.sav Checked, files are there, but no rights to copy them. It is possible to copy them with adb backup command. Don't know how it works, for me it says can't connect and I don't have time to investigate it now. Maybe anyone knows how to do this.

That's unfortunate. This happens to me when my phone overheats and the game freezes with other games. Just make sure to monitor your phone/tablet's temperature

Found a solution. Unfortunately that was after I have already lost my game (I have cleared till aliens, got all medal and resource wonders and composite budget about 10k medals). It took me 3 months to decide to start over after such accident, but now I have found a solution. First you need to install android sdk tools (how to do it is written here): www.howtogeek.com/125769/how-to-install-and-use-abd-the-android-debug-bridge-utility/When installation is done, you need commands like this: cd c:/users/YourUserName/AppData/Local/Android/android-sdk/platform-tools/ (if you don't have such directory, try to search for android-sdk and find where it is located) To copy save file to computer: adb backup -f wc3.ab -noapk com.easytech.wc3 To restore save file from computer to phone: adb restore wc3.ab |
