Starting out you you should your field artillery to hit the Japanese general if you have a general with marching ability. The battleship you have should be used to damage land units. The British fleet should take keep of the Japanese general on the battleship in the south. on first turn you should advance your units like this so the morale of Japanese general is lowered easily. Build motorised infantry on first turn. After defeating the Japanese general move your units to lower morale of unit in Bangkok before attacking. After taking Bangkok use air raid on any field artillery to the west, try to use general with air skill. Don't worry about the Japanese to your south, keep advancing your units west and don't attack the Japanese general on battleship. Lower morale of unit in city before attacking. After taking city you must take Kolkata. It will be harder to take then most cities. You units will have to cross sea to attack it and it's place on edge of map makes it hard to lower morale. Move your units in the sea and try to land them before attacking. Produce field artillery in the city you captured and with the one you had, attack Kolkata with them. You could try to land paratrooper across if you upgrade range to 7. With the attacks of the field artillery you should be able to take Kolkata.

Good point on trying to land troops before attacking,I am assuming attacking from sea with a land unit has some sort of penalty in world conqueror 3. They really should hace added marines units,or spec forces that specialize in amphibious assaults.
Anyways nice guide as usual!

Best, you be thy savior! This sounds like a sure fire method. I'll be sure to use it. If only I found this page earlier I wouldn't have griped about this mission so much.

Does anyone have a working tactic for the Pacific War 2 axis version? I have been having a really hard time on it, and maybe there is something simple that I'm missing. This sounds really stupid, but I just figured out the usefulness of upgrading generals and I upgraded one of mine to 4 star with armoires forces

I suggest to restart the game and play it from the begging. Then you will see with the right generals same stages will be easiest than you think.

I've did this mission 23 times no joke and every time somehow the damn Japanese get troops from nowhere and that herbal battleship near Kolkata Never dies. Once I start getting artillery to fight Kolkata that's where all my RSS are and I have no other troops, then the Japanese invade from both directions because my allies are horrible as hell in every single mission. There's now way to win this one unless good generals and wonders that give you outrageous boosts. This mission is the worst honestly, they need to beef the enemy and buff your allies so the game will actually be fair and a little challenging not impossible. The game gets a 6/10 because of the way they made these missions.

I think you are going about it the wrong way. And if you don't have any generals then I'm not sure how you got this far.

Out of turns Or Almost impossible glitch Not necessarily, you still can have the other cities but fail to keep at least one location that has blue spinning around it, that's a vital objective. It can be why you lost the mission.
