What I did was 1. Start the game and did the first five missions on both campaigns (AXIS and ALLIES) 2.Put no eyes (2 of them when I was lv 5) on orange wonders which give 2-5 medals and a good chance of succeeding 3 Reached 1000 medals at lv 6 and bought weichs. 4.Redo any levels which i got 1-2 stars in. 5 By now im level 8 and silvers come up. Do all silver missions with weichs (if you want the chinese arty general xu something NOT BAI) 6. Try D-day mission and barbarossa (does not matter if you get 2 stars) 7 You should have accumulated about 450-500 medals 8. Sell weichs when you're level ten. 9. Go to turin and buy Badgolio

It is not hard to beat through the first axis&allies bronze and axis 1 silver: (5*2+1)*50=550, plus 3 challenge 1s: 20*3=60, plus 3 tutorials: 100, plus biginning 500 you can Badoglio easily.

I think it is just a bit fast but I never saw you could lose that many medals.

Besides Hold the ground 2 seems very hard when your no eyes generals die and you're against a decent navy and VERY good infantry gnenral

4.Redo any levels which i got 1-2 stars in. Problem: you don't get the full 50 medals when you get one or two stara instead of all 3 on the first completed attempt. If you missed the turns for the 3 stars, it's best to go ahead and abort the mission by starting a different mission or restart the mission to erase the current saved mission. Myself, I'm currently holding off from continuing the campaign until I have more generals (or at least a second tank general besides the Romanian version of Meyer that I have). The minor medal losses can be tolerated only after you already got a medal wonder like the pyramids which would be very helpful but it might take more work for a beginner. A veteran who reinstalled the game probably could pull off the pyramids a lot quicker and before getting Badogilo.

Got Pyramids got Eisenhower got Guderian. It's really who you decide you want. I chose a diffrent route then this but still helpful to others.

I just went right for Govorov and Guderian then Vatutin and later Graziani. As you can see, the more Gs your team has the better it is. I mean let's be honest, Gmanstein is the best artillery general.
To save up medals, I just build wonders and left my phone open whenever I was doing something else

I got almost all of the 1210 medals needed from the conquests in 1939 and 1943 other than the starting medals I had in the beginning.

If I were you I'd never buy weichs, when I played the game I went straight for Badoglio without stopping in mid for weichs

Yeah, I did that, too, Mac, but then felt kind of empty. Vat just didn't do it for me:P Also, I found that going straight for Guderian was kind of hard. Your no-eyes generals kind of suck, as you can understand, and you can only get so far with just them.
