Do we get daily rewards for completing this battle? I don't see any... yes 1 plate for crusader side. 1 stirrup for arabs. But only wih s rank. Which is hard to get for crusaders but Midway got me from A to S just now It is weird, because I did exactly the same and could only get A        I have occupied a vitally important square with Aetius, protected the main target and moved all red circle generals under my control out of action. Moreover one general under AI's control escaped as well. Yet only A  |

Did it again and again A I think it has something to do with a final speech of Edward, when he says that he is the only one who survived. Which is, of course, far from the truth, to put it mildly. They did survive and already drink tee in Europe, you treacherous royal bastard  But I can't prove it to him no matter what. I am puzzled what I have to do now. Probably will wait until they fix it. Quite frustrating... |

i do it also many times. but i got s score with killing all enemies. occupy all castle. and save 8/9 targets in 12 turns... with the info given by Midway i can assume you need to save 8-9 targets to get s score.. in those times. i also do 7/6 which result in a score. suicide mission with suicide generals. but with morale getting low until you get to yellow circle and they need to survive 8/6 targets... |

First of all i had updated to the new patch, idk if it matters or not, you probably as well.
S rank achieved with midways extraction tip. Only 6 survived, 4 got extracted by turn 15. Last 2 too far away.
my steps mirror the detailsnof the thread but i can summarize again what i did hoping it helps.
Final note: did spam drums AND did NOT save load to get them back, maybe this is sth the game notices and gives lower rank. idk i dont pay attention to drum stuff rly.
Also i had invested into mamluks heavily so maybe rank is also considering how hard your enemies were?! idk
Steps were
Edward. matilda into city on swordsmen, double pathfinder on edward force march into the desert in search of water.
Deploy subutai on swordman the next turn. Everybody rush to ally and spam drums.
Deploy murad 2 on camels around turn 7.
I sent edward south after opening the map to take out some backrow enemies snd eventually take out the big castle and maybe a second, but not all as midway suggested.
save the ally. Move my red gens (to late to the yellow circle) and extract 4 by turn 15.
So in no way the best performance here, also i got the same speech with s rank also

I don't know... I give up (for a time, at least). I simply don't know what should I have done differently to overcome this barrier. I captured all castles (except one, as it was recommended) I evacuated all red circle generals or intentionally left them on the battlefield. It doesn't matter. Still A Here I evacuated all of them   Here I have intentionally left two of them behind   |

Still A Here I evacuated all of them Here I have intentionally left two of them behind I got S(Score 112,030) but It‘s take a lot of attempts and hope that RNG&Luck and Bot behavior won‘t ruin the whole match. General I used Richard, William, Timur, Saladin and Charlemagne who‘s save the day(reach yellow). |

I used Matilda (not the Empress, another one), Murad, Martell and Aetius  The problem is that I do not understand what should I do differently. It is very frustrating 😤 I don't have problem with dealing with enemies or keeping 7 out of 8 targets alive (8th has so desperate suicidal inclinations that I can hardly help him ). Perhaps it is his death that spoiled my triumph, but, on the other hand, nikomachos said that 7 or even 6 should be enough. I simply can't understand where to improve my strategy. Ps. Oh, yes, I used Timur too |

Going faster did the trick for me, had 13 or 14 turns and A. Second attempt with 11 turns got me S score.
To pull it off, your forced marcher needs to consume a few war drums and capture the SE castle while the rest fights the main army and protects the target generals. The battle ends when you have all castles.
No guarantee though since I did this right after the update and before the patches.

Did you kill more enemies, assuming that more enemy dead leads to a higher score? Or was it because you used fewer turns as a result of occupying all castles, which may lead to a higher score? Seems kind of extra and emphasises that, "You won, but did you REALLY win?" IMO, winning should be good enough, even more so to earn the daily rewards. Also, off-topic, but can anyone llease send help for Manzikert. I would like practical advice for a Byzantine S rank that doesn't include IAPs or war drums. |

Thanks for advice 🙏 First of just happy you get your dailys now. But that is so weird bc that is how I was stuck at A rank. Wiping and taking castles just didnt work for me. WHY? for me exactly babysitting was the breaktrough to S. WHY again? Anyway sry my suggestions lead you in the wrong direction. |
