my berthier is alr regrouped to 5 stars in cav and 5 stars in movement(bloody hell dat was expensive, but it is medals so its fine) but the main reason that I cant decide between the 2 cav gods is that lasalle has mobility, another cav ability, whereas berthier has geography

Fully regrouped: Berthier Not regrouped: Lasalle If you have unlimited medals and emblems then go for Berthier and upgrade him since I doubt sailor is worth as much as geography (as logn as you don't want to constantly switch items of course)

Fully developed Berthier has better maximum movement on Light and Heavy cavalry. LaSalle doesn't have more output

Why am I the only one hating berthier?

Why am I the only one hating berthier? It's not without a reason, he needs a lot of medals to be good but when you have those medals he will be one of the best cav generals.

There is also a substitute for sailor but I'm just wondering whether that wouldn't be the same

That's why only Berthier and Davout are the only two cavalry generals who can run 6 hex on Light/Heavy Cavalry. Sailor is pretty optional.

I agree, tbh i think sailor skill is useless as my land units in sea is normaly covered by my ships,so rarely dp they have to fight in the sea

I am a bit confuse about your poll. For example, if I vote Lasalle, does that means "I think Lasalle is better" or "I will get rid of Lasalle" ?
