Empty slot (Can be "Inspiration" for more damage, or "Rumour" for support).

Yeah nenonen is pretty good, did you buy him yet(if u bought him how is he in your opinion?)? I haven't bought him yet, I have still too many generals to upgrade. Ahh ok, same here my generals still need a lot of upgrades |

He's my 3rd arty specialist just for Warzone. Between Rumour and Explosives as skills for his blank slot, I'm leaning towards Explosives to attack fortresses.
Any thoughts?

I prefer rumor With rumor on Nenonen, you can free a slot on your rumor-tank gen and switch to Inspiration. Explosive on Nenonen won't give max output (outside warzone) where you can only give him arty leader medal |

I've tested him with Explosives but it doesn't do much damage, he is better be a supporter with rumour. Konev with Explosives and Inspiring is better to crack forts |

For a person with Bastico and Guderian (with Inspiration), is there much benefit to having 3 or more Inspiration tank gens? Rommel could switch, so too can Rokossovsky, but for 12-medal missions, Rumour can be much better at times (for a lazier victory). Though skills like Inspiration and Explosive dont have their own medal, but they're depend on others skill medal (like AA, Accuracy and Leader skill) to optimize their output. Unless you bought 3rd AA and Panzer Leader medal, it's not much benefit to have 3 inspiration tank gen. Mine is only Bastico since my 2 main tank gens (Guderian and Rommel) are in charge of rumor for defense event. But i have Brauchitsch. In your case, i still choose rumor over explosive for Nenonen because other than warzone, Nenonen can only get arty leader medal and his rumor will be useful than explosive. For tank 12-medal mission, Guderian with Rumor is enough for lazier victory (1 vs 5) |

I tend to agree with George RudiExplosives is not the skill you choose in a vacuum or out of general considerations. It has a very practical implementation: if you have serious problems with Fortresses - then it makes sense to choose it. Otherwise don't bother. As to Invasions... I play my daily Invasions on auto with Rommel (Blitzkrieg and PL) and haven't lost a single one so far. Since opponents in Invasions don't have Ribbons and often have a bizarre combination of skills it is an easy win most of the time. AI can screw the toughest Artillery Invasions up, but it is completely another topic  |
