EW6: 1914 Help

Because there are too many must-haves. Salvo and Tactic Master are straightforward and you should understand how much ignore movement penalty for jungle and mountain means for artillery. The last skill goes to expert because it reduces the fluctuation range from 0.6-1 (0.65 for special units) to 0.85 (0.9). Plus there's a glitch that if you complete Cuban Independence War and all arty expert medals are equipped, you have the chance to get another one, so you can have an arty expert medal on every arty general.

You don't have to replace Beseler's Plain because there's already Ivanov and Plain, despite not as great as previous games, isn't that awful that it has to be replaced. But it's better if you have expert instead of aura because expert's priority is above the terrain skills on artillery. If you want an aura then give it to... Hindenburg or Leopold, because they need a lot of skills to replace.

Straussenburg's skills are pretty nice, but you probably want to replace ambush for intercept, that extra damage is pretty nice

You probably want to get a good naval general already, given that there indeed are a lot of naval missions yet to face

I dont think you should be focusing history mode already, finish campaign/conquest archievements first

Okay so I have just realized the technology mechanic on Challenge Conquests. The enemy tends to have better tech than you and your ally have worse tech than you. Some people say only upgrade attack and mobility as high HP and DEF tech level will mean the enemy is a lot harder to crack. Some say max all the way to narrow the gap. So which strategy could be superior over the other? Out of all my units' HP and DEF tech only cavalry DEF is max, the rest are lvl 4/5.
