Spam.
We all did it, but what is OK and what isn't? To me, a comment must add something in order not to be spam. In other words, if it's discussable, it's acceptable. I think we need a limit. What should it be?

It needs to be all of those, not just one, to not be spam.

There is a distinction that must be made: between Good Spam and Bad Spam. I made this looking for the separation between the two.

I've seen Archduke Charles post one-word responses all over the place and I wouldn't be surprised if others do too.

Spam adds to the conversation, but if it's like a post with less than 5 words or something completely nonsense then...die.

Spam adds to the conversation, but if it's like a post with less than 5 words or something completely nonsense then...die. Exactly. If I stopped at "Exactly" I'd be spamming, but I didn't, so It's OK spam So this would be acceptable: "Exactly. Hwjsijs nzjdiisje jsjsjsisi jwjns bwbs... (on and on for 3 lines worth)." That's obvious dodging the ok spam/not ok spam line blatantly. If you're going to reply that the 3 lines crap in this example doesn't count as actual words thus judged as bad spam then I give you another example: "Exactly, agreed. Banana the same rocket science and technology and I am so bunny, but you can find outdoor more about headset the car is a good time for the clock to be there. I'm not sure what finding a job moon cheeseburger mystery of the Crucified the same thing unfortunately." That's the same effect more or less, pure gibberish or pulling words out of a dictionary, it's just a lame way to bypass the 5 word limit or the 3 lines limit.

There is a great difference about saying bad spam and good, Bad can be when you have no purpose in the post, and good when IT serves its purpose, to attack me is a bad example of spam. Saying "Yes" or "no" can in particular situations be good for agreeing and adding to the discussion. Can you define spam, because the one you are talking about is pieces of a puzzle @jeanlucpicard
