His skills don't even apply well on infantry or air anyway. You might as well have Knoev instead of Govorov in that case. No I mean he (and his artillery unit) can move from city to city together with an infantry unit to capture it in the same turn |

Tanks are enough in 1939 but later you'll need everything you got in Asia.

I've never played against WTO before. How bad is the Chinese paratroopers for real? If you can handle Japan in 43, why not PRC in 50 & 60? They have no commando.

I just finished 1950 as the UK and I had no issue with Chinese paratroopers. In fact the Chinese were the easist for me to kill (aside from Thailand who I nuked in turn 3 or 4) I did however have issues with Iranian pararoopers. I did this with Badgolio and 2 eyes covered generals

China loves their paratroops. Like, to the point where half of Asia is covered with them. It isn't so much their firepower, but their numbers....I blame the PLA, man. Granted this experience doesn't always occur, as Xakire said.

Most of the time I just take Tehran and spam super tanks, nearly 20 super tanks, and with that 2 hexes range paratroopers ain't a big problem anymore.
Took lots of time, though, and need some support paratroopers from BKK when about to reach Chongking as well.

Nukes... they nukespam even worse than the infamous GB! In my most recent 1950 game, playing USA, by the time I got to turn 19, I was nuked at least 8 times ( as in nuclear warheads) and Japan got nuked at least 9 times. Massive amounts of nukes and paraspam. O.o The nukes didnt stop coming. It was getting worse couple turns by couple turns... It wasn't until I took Shanghai held onto it for 3 turns: long enough, then nuked by missle all of the nuclear sites in PRC (and the one in far east USSR to be safe) and paratroopered into them in a connected chain. Note: I used a motorized infantry already on the ground to sneak deep into the PRC for the southwest nuclear site in advance. I don't have PMI yet. |

My latest 1950 game is ROC, no general, with ion. Got Chongking and Bangkok quite easily but Shanghai/Hong Kong is a pain. As they nuke Japan/USA they send their generals + paraspam against me and I can't advance (instead sent motored inf to clear up tibet and such).

I found Turkey quite okay to handle, I did it even before I got Badoglio. There is a guide telling you to go for Iraq, I will say better to do multitasking. Super tank is the key, 1960 should be easier as Iran has nuclear availableヽ（・∀・）ノ
