Yes but apart from north america, spain and ireland, it is very hard considering there are enemies on every side (take germany 1939 and 1943 for example)

I just defeated Japan. My allies did the rest really.

Yeah. Once one or the other falls, your allies become a bit more...useful? A rarity in this game, I know. I did this little beauty a bit ago. Thought it'd make a great challenge. Yugoslavia, 1939. All generals/tech are allowed. The catch? You can't attack German/Japanese/Italian/Romanian/Spanish troops/cities/fortifications. All other cities are off limits as well, but you can still attack the troops of the nations the weren't previously mentioned (Except those with generals on them... ). Retaliations don't count as attacking in this scenario. Using your troops as a distraction is key here. Is it hard, considering the horrid AI? absolutely. is it possible? Yep. Annoying? Oh, yes.

If the Russians are still alive you win... there was even some Chinese forces taking over the Balkins.

Yes, but the axis holds a distinct advantage in that era+You have a time limit. 300 turns in quite a lot, though, so I'd expand the challenge to maybe, 100;) I did it in 92. Japan was the last to fall, after it took Australia. Believe me when I say this sounds easier than it actually is. Between the stupid AI, and blatant bias in this era, things can go from 0 to 100 fast.

Oh, don't forget about that Manstein/Guderian combo that you can't stop from going on a rampage.
