That's an unforgettable memory - 1939 Japan(ugh MEAH HOME!(’・ω・‘) I immediately played conquest straight after I finished the tutorial... without any General. As being a beginner I soon have a lower hand. I do remember I didn't give up and restart however. The turning point is when I decided to send all my army together with battleships to capture Shanghai(have to do this cus I should have lost Taiwan during the lower hand) and finally entered China then finished the conquest by 180+ turns(つд⊂) I remember two funny thing during the conquest, firstly I am unaware on air attacks or paratroops in the beginning, as I feel it is too costly, and I just like 'how do the enemy have that much resources for bombing cities(Taipei)/spamming paratroops(Moscow, I head to there after Yaketerinburg instead of attacking from Minsk)...'QAQ Another one is that I should be thinking that 'ah Japan had a strong navy during the period' and what I did is building hundreds of Carriers from Tokyo bay and sent them separately to Asia then europe and to Hawaii then Australia, made the process very slow orz But by the time now I have know more about how to play on here, so on my memory I completed my previous 1939 Japan for about 50 rounds only(>﹏<) Wow, right after the tutorial, thats nice, the big problem with my first conquest was that I had no idea what I was doing and I bought some *Auto Corrected* generals. But then I began to watch some of BJ Blazkovic's gameplays whit english subtitles so I got De Gaulle my first general, and as a beginner I got some good use of him. (suprisingly enough) Your gameplay as Japan 1939 sounds very much how I played as it. You was basically trying to take over the pacific ocean, and Australia, thats pretty much what they were doing in 1939 as well. My record is Netherlands in 50 or 60 turns.

Oh, if you are talking about my record in 1939, then Soviet Union for about 32 turns(>﹏<) it may or may not be the same, at that time it should be called something like 'carrier spamming' I will never do it now X)

Btw De Gaulle? Don't you have chosen the wrong one imo... Yeah I know, It was back in the time when I had very little experience with the game, the only thing I knew was that De Gaulle was a good french general. Now I have some of the best generals in the game, I can send a picture as proof.

The Japanese navy only have 1939 to show off (wish there are more detailed things, like ship classes, but it might be too much for a mobile phone), cuz by 1943 their carriers are gone at Midway and Guadalcanal (see, the only one left is Ozawa's in southwest Pacific, presumably Shokaku).
What I did with my first completed conquest (USA) was building a very, very large wolfpack to take down all the carriers and battleships. They become a bunch of baits afterwards.

Germany (D'uh) 30's (also D'uh) Took 150 turns because I thought the goal was to survive to 200 because of the scary looking number at the end/start turn.

Spain 1939. Both the first attempted and first which succeeded.
